⚠️ Note: If you are upgrading from an older version, please update your message configurations to the MiniMessage format, as Legacy Colors are no longer supported. Failure to do so will result in your messages appearing without colors. If something doesn't work as expected, please report the error on Discord or GitHub Issues.

⚠️ Warning: Before proceeding with this update:

  1. Backup the BackpackPlus folder to avoid losing custom configurations or data.
  2. If you are using a MySQL database, ensure it is backed up to prevent any potential data loss.

Key Changes

  • Added:
    • Added admin command: /backpack info | permission: backpackplus.admin.backpack.info - displays information about the held backpack
    • Added automatic migration: the is_open column is now automatically added to the backpacks table if it does not exist
    • Added failure message for /backpack force transfer owner

  • Fixed:
    • Backpack models now automatically update upon opening if changed in the config
    • Fixed a bug that allowed blacklisted items to be placed in backpacks after being renamed
    • Fixed a bug where closing the crafting table with an active backpack recipe would return a free backpack. This issue only occurred when the backpack limit option was enabled
  • Improved:
    • The player heads system has been rewritten and should work much better now. If you encounter any bugs related to them, please report it
    • Improved database stability, connection handling, thread safety, and SQLite performance.
  • Removed:
    • Removed NBT-API dependency

Upgrade Steps

  1. Backup the necessary files and database as described above.
  2. Replace the existing plugin jar with the new version.
  3. Update config.yml according to the latest format.
  4. Restart the server and verify that everything is functioning correctly.
