- Revamped appearance of glazed terracotta blocks
New flavorful MERs
Note: Normal map rework is planned for a future update
- Revamped appearance of Concrete blocks, now more consistent across different colors, with more interesting roughness properties
- Revamped appearance of Concrete powder blocks with style that now matches up with other sand blocks
- New jigsaw and structure block normal maps
Improved MERs, metal parts are now more metallic and less rough overall
- Improved coal block normal map and other coal materials
- Fully revamped cobblestone and mossy cobblestone
Note: This was done with a new layered approach to defining each pebble/rock (similar to how cobbled deepslate or rough ore blocks were previously reworked)
Additionally, fixed disparity of MERs between Vanilla RTX and Vanilla RTX Normals, this will be ongoing as previously-intentional MER disparities will slowly be eliminated.
- Updated Stone, Stone Ores, as well as all stone parts on other textures (like on stonecutter and grindstone) to have fully consistent MERs with finer details
- Revamped reinforced deepslate with more detailed hand-drawn normal maps
- Revamped normal maps of Deepslate block and all deepslate parts on ores, as well as reinforced deepslate's deepslate parts
- Revamped chiseled deepslate materials to better match the style of other chiseled blocks.
- Lapis block and lapis parts on lapis ores are now a bit less rough in order to better convey its real world appearance
- Improved cracked deepslate tiles and bricks materials by more consistently defining which parts are considered "cracks" and part of the mortar
- Reworked all Ore normals (stone and deepslate types), ore parts on ore textures no longer appear indented and instead appear to stick out!
This is a new unique design where the idea is that towards the ore itself, the texture seems to bend down but on the ore parts, it appears to stick out instead
- Added PBR support for the Golden Dandelion, consistent with gold
- Fixed golden dandelion's cross-shape rendering error (MCPE-189266)
- Minor adjustments to various other materials
For example, stonebrick's mossy parts on its mortar are now consistent with how mosses on mortar parts of mossy cobblestone are treated
There've been many similar minor changes throughout the materials to improve their appearance and consistency.
- Updated stripped spruce log texture to match the 26.0+ texture, this was a color texture change and PBR texture updates were not needed.
- Updated workaround of Golem's Eyes, fixed leash position missing from the model
- Updated cat invisible shadow bug fix to properly include the new baby cats that were introduced with the latest game drop
- Updated Mooshroom's missing mushroom workaround, no loner breaks baby Mooshrooms
- Fixed cloth rendering issues of baby villagers, villager workaround no longer causes baby villagers to appear as adults
- Same was done for zombie villagers
- Enhanced the new mob growth and mob pause and growth reset particles similar to other enhanced particles for RTX.
