File Name

Vanilla-RTX-Normals-1.21.175.mcpack

Supported Versions

  • 1.21.101

Notes: This version's minimum required Minecraft version is 1.21.100, however, it is intended only for 1.21.111 release and higher.
Also, Copper Age Game Drop support is coming really soon!

Release Notes:

• Revamped water distance fog parameters of all biomes to closely follow vanilla behavior.

• Fixed an issue that caused textures to get randomly swapped if Vanilla RTX Tuner was ran while the game is open.

• Fixed an issue that caused some textures to appear slightly stretched (Quadrupled padding 2 -> 8)

This was usually only noticeable when a block changed its texture based on its state, e.g. when placing or removing books from a chiseled bookshelf while using Enhanced option, or when interacting with the redstone ore, sometimes the texture would move slightly

• Performed parity check up to Minecraft 1.21.110.26 Preview and updated resources & client biomes wherever necessary to match the latest vanilla definitions

Note: For example, this fixes missing music in some biomes, even though this is an RTX pack and should have nothing to do with music, the new client system biome is flawed and requires occasional updates to keep up with the vanilla game client biome definitions

▣ Enhanced Option Changelogs:

• Removed soul torch lighting workaround (Not necessery for this release)

Note:
The changelogs are copied over from Vanilla RTX 1.21.175, some updates (such as this one) that do not touch on PBR textures, usually have the same set of shared changes related to other resources / configuartions.
