What changes
- TNT, creeper, bed, and end-crystal explosions become a flash, a fireball, sparks, chunks of mud and stone, a ring of dust along the ground, and dark smoke that rises afterward.
- Dust from blocks broken by the blast uses the same smoke.
- There are two explosion sounds. One of them plays each time something explodes.
What stays the same
- Dirt, stone, water, grass, and every other block texture stay vanilla.
- The white puff when a mob dies is a separate effect, and it stays vanilla.
- Sounds other than the explosion stay vanilla.
How to use it
Enable the pack, then ignite TNT or let a creeper explode. There are no settings.
For a larger blast in a screenshot or video, run this in chat:
/particle burst:artillery_impact ~ ~ ~
Requirements
- Pack version: 0.1.0
- Minecraft: Bedrock 1.26.20 or newer
- Versions newer than 1.26.20 may change how explosions are spawned. This pack is not guaranteed to look the same on every future release.
- No experimental gameplay is required.
- This is a resource pack only, so achievements stay enabled.
- The flash, sparks, and smoke show without ray tracing or Vibrant Visuals. Turning either of those on makes the sparks glow more strongly.
