Do NOT update Custom Music Container or your custom songs will be lost!
Universal:
- Moved extra songs into a separate pack called Extra Music
- Apply Extra Music above Music+ to enable extra songs.
- Merged "Includes Extra Songs" and "No Extra Songs" pack options. Extra songs are now enabled automatically when the Extra Music pack is detected.
- Added full support for Chaos Cubed music across all pack options and the music player
- Updated the music discs album to include Bounce
- Bounce now plays at the same volume as Java Edition
- Warped forests no longer play music (except in Old Music, Festive Music, and terrain-based Custom Music modes)
Terrain-Based Music:
- Added Chaos Cubed music to the following terrain types:
- Cave: Ebb, Shores, Nightly
- Forest: Home
- Calm Forest: Memories
- Humid Forest: Nightly
- Underwater: Ebb
- Sulfur caves now use the cave music playlist
- Removed Crescent Dunes from humid forests
- Ki now plays in basalt deltas instead of So Below (which now only plays in soul sand valleys)
Total Music Mix:
- Chaos Cubed songs can now play in addition to the others
Music Player:
- Added a new section and album for Chaos Cubed songs
- Music player now loads instantly after the first launch
- Removed song duration bars as they were incompatible quick loading
- The Emote button can now be used to close the music player when using mouse and keyboard
- The Music Discs album in the music player can now play Bounce
Custom Music Only:
- Terrain-Based Custom Music: Dripstone caves songs now also play in sulfur caves
- Terrain-Based Custom Music: Universal Nether songs no longer play in warped forests
Fixes:
- Total Music Mix: Music now plays in the Nether and End
- Total Music Mix: Lava Chicken can now play automatically
- Songs delays in quiet biomes (deep dark and warped forest) are now consistent across Dimension-Based, Terrain-Based, and Custom Music pack options
- Pack icon no longer becomes blurry in Ore UI due to MCPE-153546
Pack:
- Removed custom settings tabs, which are no longer accessible due to Ore UI
- The Music Player is now only available through the in-game Emote menu
- Explanation is now stored in Markdown format instead of plaintext inside the pack
- Updated documentation for version 4.2.0
- Changed pack UUID to be compatible with earlier versions of this pack
- Updated pack version to 4.2.0
Notes:
- Extra songs were originally split into a separate pack to fix MCPE-239719, but it turned out to be more convenient overall.
- Warped forests are currently silent in all modes due to MCPE-226626.
