Do NOT update Custom Music Container or your custom songs will be lost!

Universal:

  • Moved extra songs into a separate pack called Extra Music
    • Apply Extra Music above Music+ to enable extra songs.
    • Merged "Includes Extra Songs" and "No Extra Songs" pack options. Extra songs are now enabled automatically when the Extra Music pack is detected.
  • Added full support for Chaos Cubed music across all pack options and the music player
  • Updated the music discs album to include Bounce
  • Bounce now plays at the same volume as Java Edition
  • Warped forests no longer play music (except in Old Music, Festive Music, and terrain-based Custom Music modes)

Terrain-Based Music:

  • Added Chaos Cubed music to the following terrain types:
    • Cave: Ebb, Shores, Nightly
    • Forest: Home
    • Calm Forest: Memories
    • Humid Forest: Nightly
    • Underwater: Ebb
  • Sulfur caves now use the cave music playlist
  • Removed Crescent Dunes from humid forests
  • Ki now plays in basalt deltas instead of So Below (which now only plays in soul sand valleys)

Total Music Mix:

  • Chaos Cubed songs can now play in addition to the others

Music Player:

  • Added a new section and album for Chaos Cubed songs
  • Music player now loads instantly after the first launch
  • Removed song duration bars as they were incompatible quick loading
  • The Emote button can now be used to close the music player when using mouse and keyboard
  • The Music Discs album in the music player can now play Bounce

Custom Music Only:

  • Terrain-Based Custom Music: Dripstone caves songs now also play in sulfur caves
  • Terrain-Based Custom Music: Universal Nether songs no longer play in warped forests

Fixes:

  • Total Music Mix: Music now plays in the Nether and End
  • Total Music Mix: Lava Chicken can now play automatically
  • Songs delays in quiet biomes (deep dark and warped forest) are now consistent across Dimension-Based, Terrain-Based, and Custom Music pack options
  • Pack icon no longer becomes blurry in Ore UI due to MCPE-153546

Pack:

    • The Music Player is now only available through the in-game Emote menu
  • Explanation is now stored in Markdown format instead of plaintext inside the pack

Notes:

  • Extra songs were originally split into a separate pack to fix MCPE-239719, but it turned out to be more convenient overall.
  • Warped forests are currently silent in all modes due to MCPE-226626.
