βοΈ Lumina Shaders [Bedrock RenderDragon]
Lumina Shaders brings the warm, clean, and atmospheric visual signature of Java Edition's most beloved shaders (like BSL) natively to Minecraft Bedrock Edition!
Engineered specifically for Bedrock's native RenderDragon Deferred Technical Preview / Vibrant Visuals pipeline, Lumina transforms your worlds with realistic physically-based lighting, volumetric atmosphere, and dynamic shadows—no Java, OptiFine, or Iris required.
β¨ Key Features
β
1. Dynamic Soft Shadows
Contact-Hardening Soft Shadows: Direct lighting casts sharp, grounded shadows at contact points (such as player feet and block bases) that naturally disperse into soft, smooth penumbrae over distance.
Smooth Distance Fading: Eliminates the ugly shadow cascade cutoff lines seen in vanilla. Distant terrain and shadows dissolve gracefully into horizon haze.
π 2. Volumetric God Rays (Crepuscular Rays)
True Forward Scattering (
π

g=0.92): Looking toward the rising sun or the moon produces radiant light shafts piercing through foliage canopies, canyon rims, and morning mist.
Altitude-Stratified Fog: Moisture and haze pool naturally in lowlands and valleys while keeping high mountaintops and the upper sky crystal clear.
π¨ 3. ACES Filmic Tone Mapping & Color Science
No More Blown-Out Whites: Utilizes the industry-standard ACES color curve to cleanly compress bright highlights (sun disks, lava, specular glints) without fluorescent clipping.
Balanced 6400K Daylight: Warm golden hour mornings, vibrant cerulean skies at noon, fiery twilight sunsets, and cool, moody silvery-blue nights with ambient sky bounce.
π 4. Realistic Water Physics & Caustics
Multi-Octave Waves: Dynamic surface displacement ripples that catch sun glints and reflect the sky.
Underwater Light Caustics: Animated caustic light webs dancing across ocean floors and riverbeds.
Depth Absorption: Clear, turquoise shallows that realistically darken into deep azure ocean depths.
π‘ 5. Full PBR Materials & Cozy Point Lights
Block Reflections & Metal Sheen: Gold, Iron, and Copper blocks exhibit realistic metallic sheen and reflection.
Warm Amber Torches & Lanterns: Cozy tungsten and flame lighting (~2400K) that contrasts against cool nighttime shadows, alongside neon cyan soul lanterns and crimson redstone torches.
