CRIMSON 8.0 🩸 — THE REFORGE
the biggest visual overhaul since the pack started. i went through Crimson surface by surface, at the size you actually see them, and rebuilt everything that wasn't good enough.
⚔️ EVERY SWORD, REFORGED
the swords were the weakest thing in the pack — thin scratches at 16px — and they're what you stare at for an entire match. all six tiers redrawn from scratch with a real blade, cross-guard and wrapped grip:
🩸 diamond now has a glowing crimson edge
🔥 netherite has a molten gold edge
wood / stone / iron / gold read clean and instantly tell apart in your hotbar
⛏️ EVERY TOOL NOW MATCHES
the swords got redrawn — and then everything next to them looked worse. so:
pickaxes and axes, all six tiers, redrawn in the same style as the swords. a wood pickaxe and a stone pickaxe used to be the same red — now every tier reads at a glance, which matters when you're buying pickaxe upgrades mid-game
diamond tools get the crimson glowing edge, netherite the molten gold one, same as the swords
armor inventory icons redrawn for leather, chain, iron and gold — they were all the same red blob. leather looks like leather now (and takes your team dye)
iron ingot was pink — now silver, in the exact shape of the gold ingot. diamond is a proper cut gem instead of a grey circle. your shop currency reads instantly
🌋 NEW SKY: ASHFALL
a 9th sky, and it's the darkest one yet — the world is burning. a black ash-choked ceiling, a horizon line of open flame, glowing cracks in the ground below you and embers drifting up past your screen the whole match.

🛡️ ARMOR
iron was a flat slab with no detail — now real banded plate with rivets and a faint crimson tint
chainmail rebuilt as proper woven mail
🆕 LEATHER ARMOR NOW EXISTS. it was missing from the pack entirely — and leather is what Bedwars spawns you in. built neutral on purpose so your team colour dyes true, every match, from the first second.
🧱 THE 16 WOOLS
top-lit shading so a wool wall reads as a surface instead of a flat sticker — and light blue and cyan pulled apart so you can tell teams apart across the map. same for purple and magenta.
🌌 FIVE OLD SKIES GOT REBUILT TOO
Blood Eclipse — a real eclipse now: black disc, blazing corona, rays streaming out
Storm — actual roiling storm banks with lightning forking through them
Galaxy — a real nebula: gas clouds, dust lanes, star clusters and a bright core
Blood Aurora — real rippling curtains of light with vertical rays, instead of a flat circle
Void — still the darkest, fastest sky for PvP, but now with a thin crimson horizon line and crisp stars
🌫️ SEAMLESS SKIES — NO MORE "SKY BOX"
with Vibrant Visuals on, the game was drawing its fog over the sky, so in the rain you could see the edges and corners of a giant box around you. fixed properly:
the sky now skips the fog layer: no box edges, no corners, no orange "walls"
Crimson's fog actually applies now (vanilla's per-biome fog was overriding it), and far terrain fades into each sky's own horizon colour instead of grey-white
Ashfall got a polish pass: the burning horizon melts into the sky instead of ending in a hard line
a light haze tinted to each sky replaces the thick default fog, so you can see further across the map
🧱 BLOCKS YOU ACTUALLY BUILD WITH
• end stone was plain vanilla cream — now bone-ash with crimson flecks, so your defenses match the pack (and still read light at a glance)
• planks rebuilt with real boards, grain and seams instead of a flat tan square
• ladders got rails and depth
• glass keeps its clear PvP center but the frame is crimson now instead of cyan
• TNT bottom rebuilt as proper crate boards
🏹 RANGED + TOOLS
the bow was a wireframe — now a real bow with a proper limb, string and visible draw across all 3 charge frames
arrow rebuilt with a real head and crimson fletching
shears rebuilt as crossed blades
💚 emerald actually looks like an emerald now (it's Bedwars currency — it has to read instantly)

all 9 skies, glowing gear, breathing obsidian, pulsing TNT, the full sound overhaul — all still here
