We're thrilled to announce the very first release of the Java Breaking Animation Addon for Minecraft Bedrock and MCPE! This initial version, v1.0.0, focuses on delivering a seamless and authentic Java Edition block breaking experience to your game.

New Features & Enhancements:

  • Java-Style Block Breaking Animation: The core feature of this release replaces the default Bedrock/MCPE block breaking animation with the multi-stage, intricate crack patterns seen in Minecraft Java Edition. As blocks are mined, you'll now observe detailed visual progression of cracks appearing and expanding on their surface.
  • High-Resolution PNGs: We've carefully implemented high-quality PNG assets for the new breaking animation to ensure crisp and clear visuals that integrate well with Minecraft's art style.
  • Optimized Performance: The animation assets have been optimized to ensure minimal impact on game performance, providing a smooth experience across various devices.
  • Broad Block Compatibility: The new breaking animation applies to all standard blocks that exhibit a breaking animation in the game, ensuring a consistent visual upgrade throughout your world.

Known Issues (v1.0.0):

  • Currently, there are no known major bugs or issues impacting the primary functionality of the addon.
