The Ruins Assassins

For more than a thousand years, the ruins have never truly stood empty.

Long after the kingdoms fell, after the banners burned, and after the last kings turned to dust, three silent guardians remained. They were not remembered in songs, nor carved into the stone beside the heroes of old. They were chosen for a darker duty — to watch over the forgotten ruins and protect the secrets buried beneath them.

They are known only as The Ruins Assassins.

No one knows their true names anymore. Time erased who they once were, but not what they became. Bound by an ancient oath older than the broken walls themselves, they walk through ash, shadow, and silence without rest. They do not rule the ruins. They belong to them.

The Shadow Assassin moves like a ghost through the shattered halls, unseen until the final moment. His pale eyes are the last thing intruders ever see before darkness claims them.

The Void Assassin guards the deepest chambers where forbidden power still sleeps. Wrapped in ancient violet shadow and glowing with unnatural light, he is said to hear whispers from the abyss beneath the ruins and answer them.

The Royal Assassin stands as the final judgment of the old world. Gold still shines through his darkness, a reminder that even fallen empires leave behind something deadly. He protects what was once sacred, and punishes all who seek to steal from the dead.

Together, they are more than assassins.
They are the curse of every trespasser.
The blades in the dark.
The oath that never broke.

For a thousand years, they have defended the ruins from thieves, kings, grave robbers, and fools hungry for forgotten power.
And for a thousand more, they will remain.

Because some places are not meant to be found.
Some secrets are not meant to return.
And as long as the ruins still stand, the assassins will be waiting.
