Skills & Prestige System v8.3.0: The Talent Overhaul Update!
Welcome to Version 8.3.0! This update is heavily focused on highly requested bug fixes and polishing the Talent Tree. We've completely repaired the broken passive perks so your hard-earned Prestige Tokens finally give you the true power you deserve.
Here is everything new in the v8.3.0 Update:
Combat Talents Fixed! (Hunter & Sniper)
- Hunter Perk: Fixed a bug where Hunter wasn't applying bonus damage. Now, every melee strike against non-player mobs deals heavily increased damage scaling with your Hunter level (up to +4.5 extra damage per hit)!
- Sniper Perk: Projectile attacks have been properly integrated. Hitting enemies with arrows or tridents will now properly trigger the Sniper damage multiplier (up to +6 extra damage per shot).
Utility Talents Rewired! (Blacksmith & Scavenger)
- Blacksmith Perk: Completely rebuilt from the ground up! Now, whenever you mine a block or slay a mob, there is a passive chance (15% to 45% based on level) to instantly repair 1 durability on the tool or weapon in your main hand.
- Scavenger Perk: Fixed the missing trigger logic. Now, any action that generates XP has a rare chance to dig up a hidden Prestige Token!
Admin Features & Critical Bug Fixes
- The Talent Refund Glitch: Fixed a critical bug where hitting the "Refund Talents" button in the menu would accidentally delete the newest perks (Hunter, Sniper, Scavenger, Alchemist, Blacksmith) from your save data. Refunding now safely wipes all 14 perks and correctly returns your tokens.
- Save Data Initialization: Newly joined players will now properly initialize with all 14 talent slots in their
world.setDynamicPropertydatabase, preventing "undefined" errors on the backend.
