Health Display Core v1.8.0: The Immersion Update!
Here is everything new in the v1.8.0 Update:
Per-Player Settings & Summary UI
- Personalized UIs: Settings are no longer forced globally! Every player can open their own settings using a Stick (while sneaking) or
/scriptevent health:settings. - Summary Page: Opening the menu now brings you to an elegant summary page detailing your current configuration before diving into the toggles.
- Hide Command: Streamers and creators can type
/scriptevent health:hideto instantly toggle hiding their own health bar from themselves.
Combat & Streak System
- Combo Counter: Consecutive hits against mobs will now build up a Combo Streak! Your action bar will display your streak and the exact damage you dealt.
- Damage Sources: The action bar now actively tells you the source of your damage (e.g.,
-5.0 HP (Sword/Melee)vs(Projectile)). - Healing Indicators: Whenever an entity regenerates health, a green
[+X.X]indicator flashes on their name tag!
Armor, Shields, and Status Effects
- Player health bars now feature an Armor indicator and will display a icon if they are actively holding a shield.
- 11 New Status Icons: We’ve expanded the effect tracker! The health bar now visually displays icons for Regeneration , Speed , Jump Boost :kangaroo:, Resistance , Haste , Nausea , Blindness , Hunger , Fire Resistance , Levitation :feather:, and Invisibility !
True Boss Detection & Particles
- The engine now specifically detects true bosses (Wardens, Withers, Ender Dragons, Elder Guardians, Ravagers) and gives them a massive, bold, 30-heart Boss Bar! Experimental and may not always work
- New Death Particles: Standard mobs now burst into aesthetic spark particles upon death, while True Bosses erupt into a massive explosion emitter!
