Longer Days

Longer Days extends the Minecraft day and night cycle from 20 minutes to approximately 40 minutes while preserving the vanilla flow of time.

Performance

Longer Days uses a lightweight script that slows the natural progression of time instead of replacing Minecraft's time system. The add-on automatically disables itself whenever the daylight cycle is turned off.
