Explosive Projectiles
Turn your projectiles into explosives with two simple custom commands. Arrows, snowballs, eggs, ender pearls, and wind charges can all explode on impact, and you control exactly how.
Features
- Works on players and mobs
- Separate settings for each projectile type
- Custom explosion radius
- Choose whether explosions break blocks, cause fire, or work underwater
- Rules are saved in the world, so they survive reloads and rejoining
- Full documentation included
Example
Setting a rule in chat:
/explosiveprojectilerules @s arrow 4.3 true true
Your arrows now explode with radius 4.3, work underwater, and break blocks.
Commands
Set a rule: /explosiveprojectilerules <source> <projectile> [radius] [allowUnderwater] [breaksBlocks] [causeFire]
Remove a rule: /removeexplosiveprojectilesrule <source> <all|projectile>
Projectiles: arrow, wind_charge, snowball, egg, ender_pearl
Defaults: radius 4, and all three options false. Optional values must be given in order, and radius must be above 0.
Examples
/explosiveprojectilerules @s arrow 4.3 true true Your arrows explode with radius 4.3, work underwater, and break blocks.
/explosiveprojectilerules @e[type=skeleton] arrow 3 false true true Every skeleton's arrows explode, break blocks, and cause fire.
/removeexplosiveprojectilesrule @p all Removes every rule from the nearest player.
You can you the /help command for more details.
How it works
- Each projectile keeps its own settings
- Running the command again for the same target and projectile replaces that projectile's settings
- Rules apply to projectiles fired after the command runs
- Mob rules are removed when the mob dies, and players keep theirs
Requirements
- Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.26.50
- Beta APIs experiment enabled(necessary), if your version needs it
- Operator permission (cheats do not need to be on)
Installation
- Download the file and open it to import into Minecraft.
- Activate the behavior pack on your world.
- Enable the required experiments.
- Type /explosiveprojectilerules in chat to check it works.
Troubleshooting
- Commands missing: check the pack is active and experiments are on.
- No explosion: set the rule before firing, and check you chose the right projectile.
- No block damage: set breaksBlocks to true, and check the mobGriefing game rule.
