Description

✦ DeathWorks

A vanilla-style death effect for Minecraft Bedrock.

DeathWorks turns every death into a small firework celebration. A customizable firework display appears right where you died, using familiar Minecraft firework shapes, colors, trails, twinkle, and flight settings.

Everything is purely cosmetic — the effect causes zero damage, zero knockback, zero block destruction, and no fire.

✦ Features

  • πŸŽ† A firework effect appears at your exact death location.
  • 🎨 Customize vanilla-style explosion shapes and colors.
  • ✨ Configure fade colors, trail, and twinkle.
  • πŸš€ Adjust the firework flight duration.
  • πŸŽ‡ Choose between 1–5 fireworks per death.
  • 🎲 Enable randomization for a different effect every death.
  • βš™οΈ Use /deathwork:settings to configure everything in-game.
  • πŸ”“ No cheats or operator permissions required for the settings command.
  • πŸ’Ύ Settings are saved per player and persist across sessions and server restarts.
  • 🌐 Works in singleplayer, LAN multiplayer, and Bedrock Dedicated Server.
  • πŸ›‘οΈ Completely harmless — no damage, knockback, block destruction, or fire.

✦ Vanilla Firework Customization

DeathWorks uses Minecraft's familiar firework-style effects so the death animation feels right at home in vanilla Minecraft.

Setting Options
Shape Small Ball, Large Ball, Star, Burst, Random
Primary Colors Single, Multiple, Random, Random Preset
Fade Colors None, Single, Multiple, Random
Trail On / Off
Twinkle On / Off
Flight Duration 1–3
Fireworks 1–5 per death
Randomize On / Off

✦ In-Game Settings

Type:

/deathwork:settings

The command opens the DeathWorks settings menu and requires no cheats, no operator permissions, and no command blocks.

Settings are divided into simple sections:

  • General — Enable/disable DeathWorks, firework count, and randomization.
  • Explosion — Shape, primary colors, and fade colors.
  • Effects — Trail and twinkle.
  • Flight — Flight duration.

Changes are saved automatically and apply to your next death.

✦ Multiplayer

Every player gets their own independent DeathWorks configuration.

Your settings only affect your death effect, so different players can have completely different firework styles on the same world or server.

✦ Compatibility

  • βœ… Minecraft Bedrock Singleplayer
  • βœ… LAN Multiplayer
  • βœ… Bedrock Dedicated Server (BDS)
  • βœ… No Beta APIs toggle required
  • βœ… No external services

✦ Requirements

Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.0+

Requires:

✦ Completely Cosmetic

DeathWorks does not change how death works in Minecraft.

The firework effect is designed to be visual only — no damage, no knockback, no block destruction, no fire, and no gameplay advantage.
