Ascension X: Version 2.0.0 Changelog — "The Prestige & Power Overhaul"

Welcome to the biggest update ever for Ascension X! Version 2.0.0 transforms the ladder from a purely visual title system into a massive, gameplay-altering progression journey.

 NEW: Tangible Rank Rewards & God-Tier Buffs

Ranks actually matter now! Players are automatically rewarded with items and powers as they climb the 2000-level ladder:

  • Milestone Item Drops: Reaching key levels automatically drops gear into the player's inventory.
    • Level 25 (Knight): Iron Sword & 3 Diamonds
    • Level 50 (Hero): Diamond Sword & Diamond Block
    • Level 100 (Godslayer): Netherite Sword & Netherite Block
    • Level 500 (Overgod): 5 Enchanted Golden Apples & Totem of Undying
    • Level 1000 (True Infinite): Beacon & 3 Nether Stars
  • God-Tier Passives: Players Level 1000+ are now blessed with permanent, passive Jump Boost and Resistance.
  • Permission Tags: Ranking up now automatically grants the player a hidden tag (e.g., /tag @s add rank_knight). Server owners can use these tags on command blocks to create rank-locked VIP rooms or mines!

 NEW: The Ascension Shop & Prestige Tokens

Prestiging is no longer just a chat flex—it is the key to ultimate power.

  • Ascension Tokens: Sacrificing your mortal power to Prestige now grants you 1 Ascension Token alongside your new chat prefix.
  • The Ascension Shop: A brand new menu where players can spend their hard-earned tokens on permanent account upgrades:
    •  Bonus Health: Permanently add +2 Max Hearts to your character (Cost: 1 Token).
    •  Speed Boost: Permanently increase your base movement speed (Cost: 1 Token).
    •  Celestial Trail: Unlock an exclusive, permanent end-rod particle trail (Cost: 2 Tokens).
  • Prestige Passive XP: Prestiging now grants a permanent vanilla XP multiplier! You passively generate free XP points every few seconds based on your Prestige level, making the climb back to Level 1000 faster each time.

 NEW: Admin Control Panel

Server owners now have full control over the player base directly from the menu UI!

  • Staff Only: If you have the admin tag, a secret red button will appear in your main Ascension menu.
  • Live Player Targeting: Select any online player from a dropdown to instantly modify their stats.
  • Admin Tools:
    • Add / Remove 10 Levels
    • Force Add 1 Prestige
    • Grant 1 Free Ascension Token
    • View Detailed Player Stats (Level, Prestige, Tokens, Exact Rank)
    • Wipe Data (The ultimate punishment: resets a cheater’s level, prestige, tokens, hearts, and speed back to absolute zero).

 UI & Quality of Life Improvements

  • Dynamic Perks Menu: The "Rank Perks" UI has been completely rewritten to accurately reflect the new item drops and Ascension Shop unlocks.
  • Particle Overhauls: Prestiging and hitting Level 1000 now trigger massive visual explosions and totem particles.
  • Menu Stability: Menu transitions are now protected against "Busy UI" crashes, ensuring menus open smoothly every time.
