Skyden! As seen on Stampylonghead and Squaishy Quack’s 2014 series, original builder BoltzTheClown. Revised by TheHoleyCow for richer gameplay and to include Minecraft content up to 1.21! Skyden is an advanced sky island survival challenge, built and played fully in vanilla Minecraft! It is a map mainly about exploration and achievement, but the Skyden temple and its quest crew will enable you to do just about anything!

Changes Made

for those of you who are already familiar with this map

- Reworking of Skyden missions and trades, now powered by command blocks for infinite play!

- Major overhaul towards the Nether and End dimension, to include far more guided content.

Ways to Play

Casual mode - Reduced difficulty of certain missions and end features, replay achievements won’t count towards total achievements.

Challenge mode - Involves more puzzle solving, a thankless ender dragon battle, and full completion of achievements will require several play-throughs.

For the most authentic experience, please set your render distance to 10 chunks or less and only interact with map elements!

Detailed features (Spoilers)

This section details most features / islands on this map, if you prefer to play without spoilers, skip to the bottom to download.

The Overworld:

Starter island - The island on which you spawn, next to a dark dirt hut, your first challenge.

Mycelium island - On this small island lives a fun guy.

Skyden - In the Skyden itself, you will be supplied quests by a mostly friendly crew of quest givers, some of which you can trade with for valuable items after you complete their challenges.

Portal island - Your gateway to the challenges that await in other dimensions.

Secrets - The joys of discovery! These are dotted throughout the overworld, just out of sight.

The Nether:

Starter island - Just you and your portal, a humble beginning to your treacherous journey.

Wart growth - A glowing growth of local flora.

Blaze spawner - Your run-of-the-mill fortress blaze spawner, but if blazes aren’t your cup of tea…

Quest garden - A cheap imitation of the great Skyden, but these pigmen need something to do.

Arena - An indestructible plane on which you could exert all your power fantasies, or eventually submit to…

Risks - Small islands with great rewards, just out of reach.

The End:

Starter island - Whadaya know? An island with a portal!

Chorus island - Says it on the box.

The Ender Dragon - A familiar battle, unless you're up for a challenge!

Achievement hallway - A hallway dedicated to rewarding your progress. With prestige and a gift shop on the side.

Endeavours - More to explore, in your own little rail trolley! (You have to lay the rails.)
