Description

SCP: Block Protocol is a multiplayer survival-horror Minecraft map, based on the SCP Foundation and SCP - Containment Breach, where SCPs have breached containment and are roaming around the facility. The map is based on Regalis' SCP - Containment Breach, and inspired by the Box of Horrors mod, yesnoYW's SCP: Anomaly Breach 2 on Roblox and SCP: CB Ultimate Edition mod.

This map is based on the SCP Foundation and copyrighted under the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0) license

Currently, the map only features Class-D mode. Scientist, Guard, MTF, and other roles will be added in future updates.

Mode Description

· Class-D: You are a Class-D who is about to partake in testing on SCP-173. Due to a "door malfunction," the doors to almost every SCP is opened, resulting in facility-wide lockdown. SCP-173 breaches containment, allowing you to escape into the facility. Your mission is to escape the facility as fast as possible, while avoiding all threats you may encounter.

Mechanics:

Map System

The map features a procedural generation system based on the LCS random number generator, which creates facilities that follow the original SCP-CB layout every time the server resets. Each seed generates a facility with its own unique layout.

Save System

(save files in player's inventory)

The map features a save system similar to SCP - Containment Breach, allowing each player to have up to 18 saves. Each save includes name and difficulty attributes. Currently, only Euclid and Keter difficulties are supported.

· On Euclid, you can save anywhere in the facility.

· On Keter, saving is only allowed when exiting the game, and the save is deleted upon death.

In future updates, Safe difficulty will replace the current Euclid, while the new Euclid will only allow saving at clickable monitors.

Saves record the player's health, stamina, and other stats, and preserve most items in the player's inventory along with interactable dropped items found throughout the map. These dropped items include both map-generated loot and items intentionally dropped by players. Unless exceeding a quantity limit, they remain permanently saved — making it difficult for a single player to cause item duplication or permanent loss.

Map resources are not shared between different players or different saves. When you pick up a spawned item in the map, it does not prevent other players from obtaining it — in fact, you yourself can obtain it again by reloading a save, loading another save, or starting a new one.

This complex item system allows players to use SCP-914 just like in the original game — drop an item, save, refine, then reload if the result isn't what you wanted, and repeat until you get the desired item. Throughout this process, no item duplication occurs, strictly following the saved data.

Achievement System

The map includes an achievement system similar to SCP - Containment Breach, where achievements are not shared across different saves. Players can unlock achievements by reaching specific locations, encountering certain SCPs, or obtaining particular items. Currently, only achievements matching the map's current content have been added, with more to come as content expands.

Can you earn all achievements on Keter difficulty without dying or reloading a save?
