Description
(Note: This project is officially called Mountwater Bedrock and Mountwater Java. On CurseForge, they appear as Mountwater Legacy (Bedrock) and Mountwater Odyssey (Java), because CurseForge doesn’t allow the name of the edition in the title.)
MADE IN 3 YEARS. Managed by Sword_Noid and Assisted with help by Gaminoid
Mountwater was about to be called underwater because it was going to be about an underwater base, but it shortly turned into a big creative world where you can find tall structures and towns, and discover new regions, and play minigames.
(THE ONLY OFFICIAL VERSION IS ON PLANET MINECRAFT AND CURSEFORGE)
CHUNKER requires lots of resources to convert to java, we are working on a java alternative*.
Vibrant Visuals only work when you have the addons and the resource packs that come with the addons off.
One add-on (Ski) requires payment, but is optional. Using the speed effect offers a similar experience, though if you have Minecoins you can get it HERE (Requires Realms to apply the behaviour pack.) See if it's for you in the showcase video i made.
About Mountwater Java vs Bedrock*:
Mountwater is available in both Bedrock and Java editions. While the map’s core world, regions (some of the regions may be different, but some are the same with little difference). There are some differences due to technical changes and the new seed in Java:
Java Edition (coming soon, planet minecraft page is up anyways): Uses a different seed, so there are new areas to explore. Some bases, houses, and regions may differ slightly. Tools like World Edit, and it being made after the bedrock version allow more creativity. The world is more spread out, with highways connecting builds, giving it a server-like feel. (Compatible with Geyser; no mods required—just plugins.)
Bedrock Edition: The original version, built with its own construction choices and mechanics. Regions are denser and more compact. Some of the mods, like the cars and motorcycles, are actually better than Java’s plugin-based carz.
Both editions are equally amazing, i suggest you try them both out
