You start at the very top, settling into a cozy little house with a village to help you get on your feet. But don't get too comfortable up there. The only way forward is to dig.

As you break through the bottom of your starting island, you won't just find empty space—you'll drop right into an entirely new environment. The map is divided into distinct, stacked layers, each featuring a completely different biome. You'll transition from your peaceful, snowy starting area down into a harsh desert. Dig a little deeper, and you'll suddenly find yourself surrounded by lush forests and greenery. Keep going, and the sunlight disappears entirely as you enter dark, winding cave systems, eventually leading down to scorching lava pits and dangerous depths.

Because you're confined to these vertical layers, resource management becomes crucial, and there's nowhere to run when things get dangerous. It’s a challenging test of your survival skills that is an absolute blast to play with friends. You can team up to strip-mine through the layers, share resources, and fight off the mobs that lurk in the dark.
