GLOBAL UPDATE: IKEA 3008 CLOSING TIME: FORGOTTEN HALLS UPDATE!
The new Forgotten Halls update has brought a lot of changes to the map, and with the new update, even more new content has been added!
NEW ROOMS:
There are 3 new room types in the new update:
Music room

There are 3 types of musical instruments and 1 microphone in this room. There are also two new paintings on the walls, and there are a couple of sofas and lamps on the sides of the room.
All musical instruments in this room can be played!
- instrument - piano
- instrument - thereminvox
- instrument - violin
and microphone (randomly gives out the sounds of villagers when pressed)
All the music for the instruments was written by: Lora Z
Room with terminals

There are 3 new blocks in the terminal room - these are cafe chair, an information sign, as well as the terminals themselves. This room is quite rare
self-checkout room

This type of room occupies a space that is 2 rooms long and 1 room wide. These rooms are exclusively located along the store's walls.
Inside, you can find items such as: carts, mesh containers, an 'Open & Closed' sign, and, of course, the self-checkout station itself
New blocks & decor
"The Forgotten Halls update added a large number of new blocks and decor"
here is some list of new blocks:
- wooden spikes
- burning steel barrel (and extinguished version)
- burning plastic barrel (and extinguished version)
- concrete barrier
- garland of jars (copper, iron, rusty wire version)
- satelite dish
- torn sleeping bag

A lot of textures have also been updated
You can change the texture of the garlands of jar by clicking on them with a specific type of jar
Radio

The radio displays and announces key map locations in the chat, such as basement entrances or floating houses. Now you won't have to search for them for so long — just craft a radio and head to the designated column. However, keep in mind that the radio has a delay between messages, and part of the message will be encrypted. And yes, it will be craftable!
example:

A complete rethink and redesign of all workers!
All workers from the addon have been completely reworked, given a visual overhaul, and significantly improved. You can find detailed information about all new workers in the workers section below

NEW LOCATIONS IN THE STORE!
The new update has added several new locations to the shop. Some of them are important, while others are optional to visit
communication column

Very rarely, the radio might broadcast a special message that can lead you to a new location. Visiting it is optional, but for full map completion, I highly recommend checking it out.
"Staff - only" sector

The "Staff-Only" sector is the most important location in this update. It is the most dangerous area in the entire store and also serves as the entrance to the Forgotten Halls.

In the "Staff-Only" sector, you can find a new block - Cooler. It can regenerate your health once every 3 minutes. Coolers are found exclusively in this area, and with only 4 on the entire map, they are extremely valuable.
Steel crates

Steel Crates are the new, top-tier type of crates. They can yield extremely rare items that will aid you greatly in your further endeavors.

At the end of the "Staff-Only" sector, you will find a strange door. You can only pass through it if you have a Staff Key with you (the Staff Key can be found in Room A 1). Once you have it, you will gain access to the most important location of the new update.
INTRODUCING:

This is a completely new, unique floor of the IKEA, located far beneath the basement. The number of workers here becomes unbearably high, and the fog is so thick that getting lost is all but guaranteed. The very place itself wishes you dead, not to mention the workers that inhabit it. The Forgotten Halls are divided into 3 major zones:
Sewers

The 1st zone is the Sewers. This is the longest zone and where you begin your journey in this dark world. To reach the other zones of the Forgotten Halls, you will need to carefully explore the Sewers, as various types of workers frequently patrol them

The Sewers act as a central route between the zones; you cannot reach another zone without returning to them. Within the Sewers, you will often find small rooms where you can take cover or establish a base for the first while. The sign that a new zone is beginning is finding a very strange room that leads even deeper.

Halls

The second zone is the Halls themselves. These are gigantic chambers that serve as the massive foundation for the store. These halls are filled with large, ruined columns and very old, sometimes collapsed, storage shelves. The fog makes this place extremely dangerous, as the workers can see you from a distance, while you cannot see them through the dense fog.

Herberts frequently patrol these vast halls, roaming the vicinity. It's very common to find steel crates here, which are the best crates available at the moment. It is said that in one of these halls lies a very old settlement, but whether anyone still lives there is unknown to anyone.

VOID

The third zone is the Void. It is possibly the birthplace of Hubberts and Herberts, which would explain their appearance, so different from that of the ordinary workers. This zone is dangerous not so much because of the workers themselves, but rather because of the Void's very nature.

NEVER TOUCH THE VOID!

The zone itself is a vast cluster of floating islands suspended above the Void. It's as if they were torn from their foundations and hung over the abyss, evidenced by the multitude of pipes protruding from their undersides. In fact, the Void is the lowest known point of IKEA; what lies beneath it is unknown to anyone. The islands hold rooms that resemble ordinary ones from the surface, but they are far older and have a different structure. You can also find puddles of the Void here. Let me reiterate: touching the Void is a very, very bad idea.

The Void contains many interesting and unique locations that can reveal much about what existed or transpired here. However, there is one location that will be extremely important for you to find. Good luck with that, as it is no easy task.
Despite mentioning the Hubberts (Herberts) at the beginning of this zone, they are scarcely encountered here.

Do not forget: the Void watches your every move. It knows your location.
VOID CITY

The Void City is a massive new location, filled with loot, crates, weapons, and dangers.

In Void City, you can find a new Void trader. He sells very rare items, and even his own hat! Be careful: workers roam the city, and they can kill your trader.

While traveling through the Forgotten Halls, you will often come across old structures that once belonged to humans. You can refurbish them to your liking and conquer the Halls and the Void, turning them into your new home.

In the future, the Forgotten Halls will receive updates, just like the other parts of IKEA. So this is only the beginning! And more content will be added!
New Worker Heads!

Worker Heads are a new type of decor for your home. What's more, you can wear these heads! To collect all of them, you'll have to fight the workers themselves.
That wraps up this update! Here are some other key features of the new update:
-
Added tooltips for weapons and blocks.
-
Fixed numerous bugs.
-
Added Russian language support.
-
Added special tips for the Forgotten Halls.
-
Added a soundtrack for the Forgotten Halls.
-
Wooden spikes now deal damage.
-
Added new developer toys.
-
Spear crafting has been updated.
- battle music! (surface battle, basement battle, hubert battle)
Next comes a retelling of the old locations on the map, which are also present in the new version.
FLOORS:
Surface

The surface is the safest area of the store, but only during the day, as this place becomes very dangerous at night. Collect resources and furniture. Build yourself a shelter so you don't die at night
Collect the furniture:

Cafeteria:
The cafeteria is a place where food is replenished every game day. You should not settle in this place, as IKEA workers often walk here at night

Warehouse:
Warehouses are a great place for a base. The warehouses are full of wood and other resources important for survival. You can also find the crowbar here

Night:
It becomes unsafe at night, as workers arrive. Hide in your house or warehouse so they don't get to you.

locations in surface!
room with a trader

In this room, you can find a new merchant who can sell you various rare goods, for trash, or for food or other rare goods.
room with fireplace

In this room you can find 2 new types of food – a candy cane (lollipops) and a gingerbread man. You can also find a Christmas wreath on the door, a new type of garlands, socks, and the tree itself. Either new food or charcoal can be knocked out of the socks. Also, as you may have noticed, the boxes and crates were redrawn to match the New Year's style. The Christmas tree itself is the first block consisting of two blocks. It's still a little unfinished, but in the future, such Christmas tree-type blocks will be fully completed and serviceable.
Christmas house with an outer courtyard

This room is an installation of the house and the courtyard in front of it. This room is 1 room wide and 2 rooms long (as was the case with the ticket offices). However, unlike self-service cash registers, this room is found everywhere in the store. In the outer courtyard you can find 2 new blocks – a snowman and a sled. There is also ice and snow here. Inside the house there is a Christmas kitchen with a cake, a Christmas tree, garlands and other decor.

New type of warehouse!

to get here, break the iron mesh with a crowbar. There are quite a lot of valuable resources and boxes in these warehouses, and it is also a very good place for a base!
steel

We present to your attention — steel armor, weapons and steel ingots with other components. Steel is slightly better than iron, but worse than diamonds. This set of armor and tools will be a replacement for the rare diamonds in ikea. When the players were playing on the server, I saw that most of the people were playing with iron armor sets, which didn't help much in the harsh ikea environment. Now this set is your salvation, or the road to somewhere scarier..
Spears and items
The new weapon - spears. They are notable for their high damage, but extremely low durability. There are 3 types of them in total: wooden, iron and steel

Kill the workers to get their skin

Ceiling of the store
undefined

The ceiling of the store is dotted with suspension bridges. The ceiling itself is quite empty, but it's full of interesting locations, and you can also build an excellent base that workers can't reach
locations in the ceiling!
Floating House

In the floating house you can find many interesting and important things, but the most important thing is that there is the rarest food on the map (chocolate), as well as a machete that you need to go to the basement (With the new store update part 1, there are 2 floating houses on the map)
undefined
Floating City

Floating city is quite an interesting location, where you can find some resources and make your own settlement out of this undefinedcity. It's safe enough to live here (With the new store update part 1, there are 3 floating cities on the map)
Basement

The basement - is at the same time the most dangerous, but also the most useful place of the store. Here you can find almost any furniture from fashion, as well as almost everything you can from a default game. Explore the basement carefully, it's filled with a bunch of workers
locations in the basement
Abandoned trading hall

An Abandoned trading hall is a basement area that is very similar to the surface, but differs only in that everything is abandoned here. You can often find a lot of workers here. You can create a base here, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea
Retro Store

All the rooms of the retro store seem to be miniature, and the style of this store itself looks retro, which is logical in principle. You can find a lot of rare and interesting things in the retro store, but be careful, even here there are workers. There is a retro store deep in the basement
abandoned survivor base
There are supplies, barbed wire, and food. I think it would be a good idea to set up an outpost here.

Explore industrial tunnels

And explore a "A rooms"

In the A rooms there are rare resources and materials that are not typical for an IKEA store, for example: seeds, food from a vanilla game, water and occasionally diamonds with other useful resources.

There are 10 such A rooms in total, and each one is unique
However, room A 1 is bigger than the others

To get there, craft yourself a diamond machete.

Break the steel boards with diamond machete

Room A 1 is the most dangerous of all A-type rooms, I advise you to go here last and with good preparation, but the reward is worth it.

Here are the rarest toys in the store. Find them all! (Most of these toys are in A type rooms)

Crawler worker
Health - 85
hit - 5

He can crawl on walls, is extremely fast and agile. It can fit into a space 1 block high, and it can also break doors
