GO - Get Out v.6

Get Out (GO) is an Minecraft Extraction Shooter suited for singleplayer and multiplayer. When playing alone you can squad up with ai-teammates. Customize your loadout in an intuitive way. Do your best to survive and look for valuable loot. After some progress Exit points around the map will open up for you to escape!

Gameplay:

This game works as survival shooter. Try your best to free hostages and fight together with allies (players and NPCs) against enemy NPCs.

Never do the mistake to underestimate your enemies! They use the same strong equipment as you. So that's where your tactical options come in place:

Use silenced guns to hide your position (you can still be seen)
Hide in tall plants like bushes
Sneak to reduce detection range
Tie up enemies that surrender

Difficulty

There is a setting to adjust the difficulty. Additionally, maps vary in their difficulty because of differences in terrain, bosses and enemies. Nevertheless, GO is designed to be challenging, which is noticeable at EASY already. Please make use of the fact that this is Minecraft to further reduce difficulty for yourself!

Some ideas:

Activate setting 'keep inventory'
Get equipment (kits) from creative or command
Eat golden apples/add effects to yourself

Guns

Guns are the primary tool to defend yourself. To make them work, you need a full magazine of the right caliber in your inventory. Reload them by shooting the clip empty. Weapons can be customized with scopes, silencers and ammo strength. Please look which attachments are available for your gun.

+ Guns are coded lightweight and have a comparably small performance cost

- However, they have one major issue, resulting from the system used to make them work: Data is stored for every weapon type, not for individual items (= carrying two times the same gun is impractical as both share the same ammo count).

Health

Health is more complex compared to vanilla Minecraft: You get hungry faster on the one hand. Attacks on the other hand, can cause injuries like bleeding and fractured bones. Bleeding causes you to loose health over time, while fractures cause permanent slowness and reduce your max. health. Special medical items are required to treat different injuries!

Maps & Loot

GO features a small selection of maps. Select the map you want to enter by tapping at the map in the game's lobby. Then press the white button on the computer right next to it. Maps are the place where enemies will attack you. Containers like safes are spread across the maps. Collect loot to get money or to trade with.

Bullet Damage

The guns in GO make use of the deafult damage dealing logic of Minecraft. This means that an entity has a short damage immunity after each hit in which no same damage can be dealt. Only damage higher than the previously suffered damage is counted. The guns in GO make use of this system. The damage of bullets therefore is randomized so that shooting at enemies at a high rate of fire increases the chance to deal high damage. Thus, auto-fire is making sense, although short bursts of two to three shots are considered more ammo-efficiant.

In game, only the highest possible damage is noted. However, every bullet has a range of damage, as previously mentioned. The damage range is determined by two factors:

Ammo CALIBER: min. damage
Ammo TIER: max. damage

The ammo tier corresponds with the tier of armor like this:

Armor tier > Ammo tier: Bullets always deal reduced damage
Armor tier = Ammo tier: Bullets can deal improved damage
Armor tier < Ammo tier: "Armor piercing", bullets can kill in one hit

Dithering

Minecraft has introduced blocks and entities slowly fading out when you are close to them. In-game it's refered to as "Dithering" and it can be turned off for better performance and experience in GO.

Get Out - Add On

I've created an add-on version of GO, that enables you to use guns, enemies and other stuff like the tank for your own maps. However, I'm still not sure whether I should publish it 100% for free. I generally want to make it available for people who have no option to pay, but maybe I should establish more convenient ways to donate a smaaaaaaall amount before I make the add-on public.
