Description
Ever wanted to have a clean 1v1 with a friend that requires much more than just broad PVP?
Duels Masters is 6 fast-paced challenges put into one map.
1) Knight Duel
We start off with a straightforward 1v1 with iron gear and no bows. There isn't much strategy in this one compared to others. Your objective is to kill the opposing player and that's it.
2) Nerd Pole Race
This one is also very simple. your objective is to nerd pole up to y 50 before the enemy does. Players won't take any damage in this damage, but are still able to receive knockback from being punched.
3) Touch the Emerald!
This is where it starts to get more complicated. You are given a Knockback II stone sword and moderate armor with the objective is to have control over the emerald platform in the middle of the map as much as possible. The emerald starts to detect players after 15 seconds have passed and in order to win, you must be standing on that emerald without the enemy getting in the way.
4) Spleef
In a very small map, use your shovel to break blocks beneath the other players to have them fall in the lava underneath.
5) Mineshaft Madness!
Possibly the most chaotic challenge out of the six, this game requires you to do anything you can to outlive the other player. You are given good armor and an iron pickaxe to attack with and you must avoid falling stalactites and TNT. If you get knocked deeper into the cave you will land on a stalagmite that will nearly always finish you off. But if you do somehow survive, there will be ladders that you can use to get back up safely.
6) Base Raiders
A very strategic challenge which normally lasts the longest out of the six. You and the other player spawn on opposite sides of the map adjacent to your respective treehouses. You may mine ores that are located in the middle to upgrade your gear or you may try to raid the opposing player’s base to get the win. To win, you must jump into the other player’s treehouse and land in their stash. Once that happens you have completed the game. Base Raiders can be replayed over and over as many times as you’d like, or you could start playing every challenge in order again.
