Welcome to Capture the Wool! A team minigame where each side defends its base. Steal the enemy wool and bring it to your base to score. The first team to get 3 points wins! Use Speed Portals and special items throughout the match to achieve victory.

Description

How to start?

To start, press the Start button. A menu will open where you can select one of the available maps or the "Random" option. The game will divide the players and assign the teams automatically according to the selected method.

Main Objective

Steal the enemy team's wool and take it to your base. For the point to count, you must stand with the rival wool on your platform, and you must have your own wool safe.

If your wool has been stolen, you will not be able to score. Eliminate the rival carrying it to recover it automatically.

Game Mechanics

Getting the wool: You can only break the rival wool using your Sword or Axe. You cannot remove it by hand or with other items.

Wooden blocks: You will receive blocks to protect your base or create bridges. You can remove them quickly with your axe.

Speed Portals: In the center of the map there are portals. If you cross through a portal that matches your team's color, you will receive a speed boost.

Special Items

During the match, items will be distributed randomly to give you an advantage:

Wind Charge: Throw it at your feet to propel yourself upward. If you jump at the same time, you will go even higher.

TNT: Instantly destroys wooden blocks placed by players. It does not break the map or cause damage to players. Ideal for making your way through.

Netherite Sword: A lethal single-use weapon. A normal hit leaves the rival at half health; a critical hit will leave them at just one heart.

Spectator Mode

If you don't want to play, press the Spectate button. You will be taken to the top of the map and won't be assigned a team. You can return to the main room using the "Return to Lobby" button.

Extra Notes and Commands

Packs: It is mandatory to have the Resource Pack and Behavior Pack active.

Limit: The game allows 4 players to enter the world. To allow more people in the world, use: /setmaxplayers <number of players>

2-2 Tie: An epic ambient song will play. You can adjust its volume in: Settings > Sound > Sound Effects.

Performance: If you have lag due to particles, lower the graphics to "Fast" and disable Clouds and Fancy Leaves.

Joining the match late?

If someone is spectating and wants to enter the already started game, they can enter using the Join Game button. Otherwise, an administrator can use these commands in the chat:

Blue: /tag <player> add addblue

Red: /tag <player> add addred

Random: /tag <player> add addrandom
