The Backrooms: Easy Mode
Nobody remembers how they arrived.
There was no transition. No warning. No sound.
Just the hum of fluorescent lights and the endless yellow walls of Level 0.
The Backrooms are not a place you explore.
They are a place you endure.
Every hallway stretches too far. Every room feels recently abandoned. Time feels inconsistent. Hunger sets in faster than it should. Your thoughts grow louder the quieter it becomes.
Some levels feel empty.
They are not.
Overview
This is the Easy Mode version of the multiplayer-focused Backrooms survival experience built in Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
It contains the same levels, entities, mechanics, and progression as the standard version while providing a more forgiving survival experience for players who wish to explore the Backrooms with less pressure.
Whether you're playing for the atmosphere, the exploration, or with friends who are new to the map, Easy Mode offers a more accessible way to experience the Backrooms.
Easier Survival
Survival is still important, but you'll have more room for mistakes.
Compared to the standard version:
No more sanity system
Resources are easier to manage.
Survival is less punishing overall. If you die, you go back to the level you died on!
The Backrooms remain dangerous—but you'll have a better chance of making it through.
Hunger System
Managing hunger is still essential for survival.
Food sources include:
Moth Jelly
Energy Bars
Star Candy
Additional food supplies found throughout the Backrooms
While supplies are more plentiful than in the standard version, careful resource management is still encouraged.
Custom Entities
The Backrooms are still inhabited by dangerous entities.
Each behaves differently.
Some patrol.
Some stalk players from a distance.
Some react to movement or presence.
Entities feature custom sound effects, making every encounter feel tense and unpredictable.
Several new entities have also been added throughout the experience.
Even in Easy Mode...
You are not alone.
M.E.G. Bunker
Somewhere within the Backrooms lies a hidden M.E.G. bunker.
Inside are specialized M.E.G. Protective Suits, designed to protect survivors from poisonous gases found in certain levels.
To unlock the bunker, you must locate five hidden keys scattered throughout the Backrooms.
Exploration is rewarded.
Progression
Survive.
Explore.
Find the correct path forward.
Some levels are safer than others.
Multiplayer
Easy Mode is designed primarily for multiplayer and is best experienced with up to five players.
Players can:
Share resources.
Explore together.
Warn each other of nearby dangers.
Work together to survive.
Cooperation makes survival much easier—but the Backrooms still have a way of separating people.

Easy Mode is intended for players who want to:
Explore the environments.
Experience the atmosphere.
Learn the levels.
Play casually with friends.
