Tired of digging for hours to find diamonds? X Ray lets you see through the ground.
Hold any pickaxe and crouch. Stone, deepslate, tuff, dirt, gravel and other underground blocks within 8 blocks of you turn see-through, so the ores stand out. Stand up or switch items and everything goes back to normal.
Features
- See-through underground: stone, granite, diorite, andesite, deepslate, tuff, dirt, gravel, calcite, dripstone, basalt, netherrack, blackstone, end stone, clay and soul soil.
- Glowing ore markers: each ore type has its own colour. Diamond is cyan, gold yellow, emerald green, redstone red, lapis blue, iron tan, copper orange, coal grey, quartz white and ancient debris brown.
- Pointer lines: short dotted lines next to you point toward the 6 closest ores.
- Ore counter: the bar above your hotbar shows how many of each ore are nearby and how far the closest one is.
- Night vision while x-raying, so dark caves are easy to read.
- Safe mining: the see-through blocks stay solid, so you won't fall through. Mining them gives the normal drop (stone gives cobblestone, silk touch works).
- Works in the Overworld, the Nether and the End.
How to use
1. Import X Ray.mcaddon.
2. Turn on both X Ray packs in your world settings. No experimental toggles are needed.
3. Hold any pickaxe (wood, stone, iron, gold, diamond or netherite) and crouch.
Notes
- Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.90 or newer.
- The blocks really change in the world while you crouch, so other players nearby will also see them go see-through.
