Wet Cobwebs
"Water Webs like Java Edition" by Chuggz
Ever wonder why cobwebs in Bedrock just... sit there when water touches them? This pack fixes that.
Wet Cobwebs brings Java Edition-style behavior to Bedrock: when water touches a cobweb's side face — or the cobweb becomes waterlogged — it breaks and drops a single string, just like the vanilla Java mechanic. Water above, below, or simply nearby doesn't trigger it; only direct side contact does, keeping the behavior accurate and predictable.
Features
- Cobwebs break and drop 1 string when water touches a side face
- Waterlogged cobwebs also break correctly
- Water from above/below/adjacent (non-side) doesn't falsely trigger removal
- Lightweight script-based implementation — no resource pack bloat
- Original, independent implementation built for modern Bedrock (requires
@minecraft/server2.7.0+)
Requirements
- Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.114+
- Behavior pack must be applied to a world with Beta APIs / Script API enabled
Perfect for anyone who wants their swamp, dungeon, or ocean builds to behave a little more like the version they remember.
