Weapons & Utilities Expansion V1.1

Hello, I have finally decided to update this project almost four years later!

This addon aims to add more functionality and use cases to features Mojang has brought to the game that are rather lacking.

Version 1.0.0

This version (current version) adds new content relating to bees and honey as well as a new weapon type: The Scythe.

The Scythe is a weapon that can drastically weaken it's target.

After a target has been hit by the weapon three times, they will take bonus damage (3-4 dpending on tier) and will be inflicted with Weakness, Slowness, & Blindness (5-10 seconds depending on tier)

 

Side Note: The Honeycomb Scythe applies Fatal Poison 2 for 10 seconds to the hit target instead of Blindness

 

Beehive Armor & Honeycomb Toolset

The beehive armor is pretty standard, with it's stats equal to that of iron, but with half of the durability.

The armor set has one unique property, that being it's set bonus.

When fully equipped, the armor set provides an extra 4 hitpoints to the wearer, and will cleanse certain negative effects, such as fatal and regular poison.

 

As for the toolset, it is a cheap toolset made from honeycomb and sticks, again mimicking the stats of iron with half of the durability. (Toolset is missing a spear. If I ever learn how to make spears, I will add one for this toolset)

 

Honey Butter & Buttered Food Items

Honey butter is a new crafting material that can be made via smelting a honeycomb in a furnace, smoker, or campfire.

Honey butter improves stats of the food it can be applied to:

• Bread
• Apples
• Carrots
• Regular & Baked Potatoes
• Beetroots
• Sweet Berries
• Glow Berries
• Melon Slices
• Chorus Fruit

These improved foods provide an extra 2 points of saturation and nutrition, as well as effecting the user with Regeneration 2 for a short amount of time.

Side Note: The buttered chorus fruit teleports you five blocks in the direction you are looking.

 

Honey Wand & Hive Grenade

The honey wand is an useable item that covers bees in pollen & grants the user absorption and regeneration when covered using a honey bottle.

 

The Hive Grenade is a new throwable projectile that does 6 impact damage, and effects entities within a 3.5 block radius of its collision point with fatal poison 2 for 10 seconds. its also pretty cheap, only needing honeycomb, planks, and a spider eye.

 

Honey Cauldron

The honey cauldron is a block that collects honey from hives & nests dripping above it within a 2 block radius.

When the cauldron is filled with a layer of honey, it can be bottled, or it can be sheared for honeycomb.

The cauldron can hold a max of 3 layers of honey.

 

Wax Candy

Wax candy is a semi-expensive food item that can be crafted from Sugar, Honey butter, and honeycomb.

Wax candy will apply haste, absorption, and regeneration to the user, as well as clear certain negative effects.

Hello again.

Firstly, here is a more powerful pickaxe type, the Jittered Pickaxe.

Jittered pickaxes have the ability to clear extra blocks in the direction you are looking just by you breaking a singular block. these pickaxes have slightly slower mining speed compared to their vanilla counter-parts.

 

Ender Essence

A new material very commonly found in and only in the end. Ender essence can currently be used for a full set of armor. Its set bonus is that it will teleport the player to a random position on the ground if they happen to have 5 or more blocks of air under them, preventing them from dying of falling. This material can be also used to make ender pearls and a lantern of its type.

 

Functional Blocks

Scrapper (on the right)

The scrapper can scrap equipment items such as swords and armor for a small amount of their material cost back by holding a valid item and interacting with the block

 

Sifter (on the left)

The sifter can sift through sediment-like blocks and uncover small amounts of materials such as flint, iron, gold bones and more. All that is needed to use the block is to interact with the block while having a sediment block such as gravel on top of it. Once interacted with, the sifter will destroy the sediment, uncovering materials.

 

Chorus Foods

2 new chorus foods made from chorus fruit. Chorus Pie & Chorus Fruit Juice.

 

Chorus Pie

Chorus pie will effect one random player within a ten block radius of itself with resistance, randomly teleport the player, heal one hunger point, and heal to hearts when interacted with

Chorus Fruit Juice

Chorus fruit juice just heals a high amount of hunger and saturation. no gimmicks here.

 

Oversized Crops

Oversized crop blocks can be found across the world, and when broken, give high amounts of the crop the block is made of.

 

Tomato & Eggplant

Tomato and eggplant are new crops that can be found around the world from a new type of short grass called the short bush, a dark green grass that appears in most biomes. These crops work like any other crop, and have new foods that can be crafted from them

 

The Whirlwind

The whirlwind is a new heavy-hitting axe that can be found in end cities. After every 2 hits, the target of the weapon will go flying upwards, and more than likely die from falling.
