Description

Welcome to WasteLanders!
Have you ever looked at Minecraft's beautiful landscapes and thought, "You know what would make this perfect? A couple of nuclear explosions!" If so, you're in luck.
WasteLanders is a post-apocalyptic Add-On for Minecraft Bedrock Edition that transforms the familiar Overworld into a dangerous wilderness filled with hostile creatures, abandoned structures, new biomes, weapons, equipment, and survival challenges.
Discover the ruins of civilization, gather supplies, and adapt to an unpredictable environment where every expedition comes with risks. From radiation and nuclear reactors to custom armor and weapon crafting, WasteLanders brings new possibilities to survival gameplay.
And yes, there's new food, too. Because even in a nuclear wasteland, you shouldn't have to survive on rotten flesh alone.

A World Reborn in Ruins
Minecraft's familiar landscapes have been transformed into a post-apocalyptic world. Many environments feature reduced foliage, dead vegetation, barren terrain, and coarse dirt in place of ordinary grass.
Custom plants, atmospheric fog, altered water colors, and redesigned skies give each region its own distinct identity. Every biome offers different scenery, resources, structures, and threats to discover.
The Wastelands
The Wastelands are among the most common environments you'll encounter and may be one of the first places you explore. With their dead grass, devastated terrain, unfamiliar creatures, and scattered structures, they offer an introduction to survival after the apocalypse.
Travel carefully, especially after dark. What appears manageable during daylight can become far more dangerous when night falls.

The Scorched Lands
For survivors looking for a greater challenge, the Scorched Lands offer one of WasteLanders' most dangerous environments. This devastated region is home to the Scorched Wing and other hostile scorched creatures.
Because of the threats that inhabit this biome, the Scorched Lands are better suited to players who have already gathered reliable equipment and supplies. Consider exploring this area once you're prepared for a tougher fight.

The Everglades
Not every part of the world has been completely consumed by the apocalypse. The Everglades are among the last places where natural life has survived, offering more vegetation and useful resources than the surrounding wastelands.
This biome can be a valuable starting area for new survivors, but its relatively peaceful scenery can be misleading. Dangerous creatures may still emerge after sunset.

The Pinewoods
Deep within the wilderness lies the Pinewoods, a dense forest filled with hidden locations, mysterious scenery, and secrets to uncover. It might be one of the more beautiful regions in WasteLanders, but beauty doesn't guarantee safety.
Explore the forest, gather resources, and investigate what lies beneath the trees. Be especially careful after dark: something could be watching from the shadows.

Explore the Remains of Civilization
The wasteland is scattered with structures that offer opportunities for exploration, scavenging, and building. Abandoned cities can generate in flatter areas, providing locations to search for loot, building materials, and unique armor wraps.
Whether you're gathering supplies for your next journey or looking for a place to establish a base, these remnants of civilization reward curious survivors.

Radiation and Nuclear Technology
WasteLanders includes a radiation system and functional nuclear reactors that add new challenges to survival. Nuclear technology can be valuable, but careless handling of radioactive materials or poor reactor management can lead to serious consequences.
Build your reactor, manage its fuel and coolant, and keep its operation stable. A successful setup takes planning; a meltdown is an entirely different experience.

Nuclear Reactor Tutorial
New to nuclear engineering? Our tutorial explains the basics of building and operating a reactor, including:
- Gathering the required materials and components.
- Constructing a functional, stable reactor using redstone.
- Understanding the benefits and risks of nuclear power.
- Refueling and maintaining uranium fuel rods.
- Managing coolant and reactor stability.
- Recognizing the dangers of a reactor meltdown.
Follow the guide, keep an eye on your reactor, and try not to turn your base into a radioactive crater.
Uranium Ore
Uranium ore is one of the resources that brings you a step closer to nuclear power. Process it properly before use: working with untreated uranium powder can have dangerous consequences.

New Armor and Equipment
Survival requires more than simply finding shelter. WasteLanders adds custom armor designed to help players adapt to different situations, from radioactive environments to intense combat.
Radiation armor provides radiation resistance, while PK-4 armor is designed to give you a better chance of surviving gunfights. Choose your equipment with the dangers ahead in mind.

Designed for Add-On Compatibility
No pesky player.json edits required! WasteLanders is designed to work alongside many other Minecraft Bedrock Add-Ons, making it easier to build a customized survival experience without unnecessary conflicts.
Compatibility can vary depending on the other Add-Ons you install. If you discover an incompatibility, please report it in our BlockDivision Discord server so we can investigate.
Vibrant Visuals Support
Experience the wasteland in a new light! WasteLanders includes updated texture maps and support for Minecraft Bedrock's Vibrant Visuals, giving players with compatible graphics settings another way to explore its atmospheric environments.
Explore the Wasteland in Your Language
The apocalypse knows no borders, and neither should your adventure! WasteLanders supports six languages, so more players around the world can explore, build, and survive the wasteland in a language they know.
Available languages: English, Spanish, Russian, French, German, and Portuguese.
No matter where you're from, the wasteland is waiting. Gear up and experience WasteLanders your way!
Weapons, Blueprints, and the Scrap Box
Need some extra firepower? WasteLanders introduces craftable guns and a Scrap Box crafting system to help you prepare for the threats of the wasteland.
To craft certain weapons or tools, you'll need the appropriate blueprint. These blueprints are an important part of unlocking equipment and making the most of your collected resources, so keep an eye out for them as you explore.
