Are you totally tired of the boring, mindless spam-clicking combat in vanilla Bedrock Edition? Have you ever watched Java Edition players dominating with sweeping edge and timed attacks and wished you could do that on your survival world? I got completely sick of how basic the PvP and PvE felt, so I decided to rewrite the entire combat engine from the ground up.

This is not just a simple damage tweak or a basic behavior pack. This add-on completely overhauls how you fight, bringing true next-generation Java-style combat, advanced movement, and crazy new custom mechanics directly into your game.

The Cooldown and Sweep System

The biggest change you will notice immediately is the attack cooldown system. You can no longer just spam your attack button to win fights. If you swing too fast, your hits will deal barely any damage and the script will actually give you a weakness penalty. You have to wait for the custom action bar on your screen to charge up.

When you time your hit perfectly with a sword, it triggers a massive Sweep Attack. This deals area-of-effect damage and knocks back every single mob around your primary target. I also added a hardcore shield-breaking mechanic. If your friend is hiding behind a shield and sneaking during PvP, hit them with an axe to completely disable their block for five seconds.

Flow State and Finishers

I wanted to reward aggressive and highly skilled players. That is exactly why I coded the new Flow State combo system. If you chain your attacks together and keep hitting targets without taking long breaks, your combo multiplier goes up. Hit a 10x Flow combo, and you will deal absolutely massive bonus damage to anything in your way.

But it gets better. If you are fighting a boss or a tough mob and their health drops below 15 percent, you have a chance to trigger a Finisher. The script will instantly execute the target with a crazy visual particle effect. Plus, thanks to the built-in Lifesteal system, you will instantly recover some health after every single kill.

Advanced Dash Movement

Combat is not just about swinging a weapon; it is about dodging and positioning. I built a custom dash mechanic straight into your standard movement controls. If you are walking or sprinting and you double-tap your sneak button, your character will perform a high-speed dash in the exact direction you are looking. It has a short three-second cooldown, but it is an absolute game-changer for dodging creeper explosions, closing the gap in PvP fights, or just escaping a bad situation when you are low on health.

The VOXELBRO Guide Book

I know some people might not want every single feature running all the time. When you load into the world, you will automatically receive a custom UI Guide Book in your inventory. You can use this book anywhere to open a massive interactive control panel. It tracks all of your sweaty combat stats like total mob kills, your highest combo flow, total critical hits, and overall damage dealt. You can also use the menu to manually turn off specific features like sweep attacks, lifesteal, or the dash mechanic if you want a more pure vanilla experience.

The Technical Setup (READ THIS)

Because this add-on completely overhauls the game engine with custom scripts, UI forms, and entity tracking, you absolutely must turn on the Beta APIs experiment in your world settings. If you do not toggle this on before loading your world, the guide book will not open, and the combat features will be totally broken.
