Villager Zombification
Villager Zombification lets you turn villagers into zombie villagers manually using a craftable Zombified Apple. No zombie, specific difficulty, or complicated setup is required.
1. Features

- Craftable Zombified Apple made with rotten flesh instead of gold.
- Manually zombify villagers without needing a zombie nearby.
- Nearby iron bars and a bed speed up the conversion.
- Villager trades remain unchanged after zombification.
- The item is consumed when used, keeping the addon survival-friendly.
- Automatically handles the difficulty requirement and restores the original difficulty.
- Optimized script with no unnecessary background watchers.
2. How to Use

- Craft a Zombified Apple using the same recipe as a Golden Apple, but replace the gold with rotten flesh.
- Give the villager the Strength effect.
- Use the Zombified Apple on the villager.
- The villager receives Weakness and begins a slow conversion lasting about 3–5 minutes.
- Place iron bars and a bed nearby to speed up the process.
- After conversion, cure the zombie villager normally with Weakness and a Golden Apple if desired.
3. Technical Details

The addon uses the /event command, which normally requires Hard difficulty. Villager Zombification temporarily handles this requirement in the background and restores your world's original difficulty afterward.
It works on Peaceful, Easy, Normal, and Hard worlds without manual configuration.
The Zombified Apple can also be eaten. Doing so gives the player Hunger and Weakness.
Important: After a villager is zombified, its trades do not change. You can safely convert villagers without losing their existing trade setup.
Compatibility: Survival-friendly, fully automated, and optimized for normal gameplay without unnecessary background processing.
