🛡️ Villager Soldier Vanilla Version 7: Labour & Production Force

Looking for a vanilla-friendly add-on that doesn’t require any experimental settings to be enabled? Want a simple, clean addon focused on villagers without illager modifications? This is the one. Villager Soldier Vanilla only adds village guard units and essential golems — no edits to illagers at all. Fully compatible with any resource pack.

New Villager Free Hanle System:

Villager Free Handle participates in labor and production.


Villager Free Handle will now serve as the labor and production force, with a wage of 1 bread per day. Each day, the villager consumes 1 bread. If no wages are paid for 3 days, the Villager Free Handle will revert to a vanilla villager. To invite a vanilla villager to join the labor market, you must possess a Free Handle Decree and give it to them.


VILLAGER PROFESSION SYSTEM

This Wiki details the skills, crafting recipes, and level-based progression for all 13 villager professions in the Villager Soldier Vanilla Version 7.

Villagers gain XP through work and level up at 100 XP intervals (Level 0 to 5).

BUTCHER

Description: Food specialist. Can cook raw meats, process pumpkin-based foods, and provide rations.

CRAFTING & PROCESSING (Level 0+):

  • 1 Wooden Bowl -> 1 Mushroom Stew
  • 1 Pumpkin -> 4 Pumpkin Pies
  • Raw Meats (Pork, Mutton, Chicken, Rabbit, Beef, Cod, Salmon) -> Cooked versions
  • 1 Potato -> 1 Baked Potato

LEVEL REWARDS (Per Work Cycle):

  • Level 0: 8 Cookies
  • Level 1: 16 Cookies
  • Level 2: 16 Cookies + 2 Pumpkin Pies
  • Level 3: 16 Cookies + 4 Pumpkin Pies
  • Level 4: 18 Cookies + 8 Pumpkin Pies
  • Level 5: 20 Cookies + 16 Pumpkin Pies + 50% chance for 1 Cake

CARTOGRAPHER

Description: Navigation expert. Assists in paper production and observation equipment.

CRAFTING & PROCESSING (Level 0+):

  • 1 Sugar Cane -> 1 Paper
  • 1 Paper -> 1 Writable Paper (fv:paper_writable)
  • 2 Copper Ingots -> 1 Spyglass

LEVEL REWARDS (Per Work Cycle):

  • Level 0: 4 Paper
  • Level 1: 8 Paper + 50% chance for 1 Empty Map
  • Level 2: 10 Paper + 50% Map + 30% chance for 2 Glass blocks
  • Level 3: 12 Paper + 50% for 2 Maps + 30% chance for 4 Glass blocks
  • Level 4: 14 Paper + 8 Glass + 50% for 3 Maps + 20% chance for 1 Compass

CLERIC

Description: Master of alchemy. Provides combat support through tipped arrows and potions.

CRAFTING & PROCESSING (Level 0+):

  • 1 Arrow -> 1 Random Tipped Arrow (Negative Effect)
  • 1 Glass Bottle -> 1 Random Potion (Positive Effect)

LEVEL REWARDS (Per Work Cycle):

  • Level 0: 1 Positive Potion
  • Level 1: 2 Positive Potions
  • Level 2: 3 Positive Potions

FARMER

Description: Agriculture expert. Creates premium golden foods and provides essential harvest.

CRAFTING & PROCESSING (Level 0+):

  • 1 Wheat -> 1 Bread
  • 1 Carrot + 2 Gold Nuggets -> 1 Golden Carrot
  • 1 Apple + 4 Gold Nuggets -> 1 Golden Apple
  • 1 Bone -> 6 Bone Meal

LEVEL REWARDS (Per Work Cycle):

  • Level 0: 4 Wheat Seeds
  • Level 1: 8 Wheat Seeds + 1 Carrot
  • Level 2: 8 Wheat Seeds + 2 Carrots + 1 Potato
  • Level 3: 4 Apples + 4 Bread
  • Level 4: 8 Apples + 6 Bread
  • Level 5: 16 Apples + 8 Bread

FISHER

Description: Ocean harvester. Catch quality and enchantment power increase with level.

CATCH CATEGORIES:

  • Fish: Cod, Salmon, Pufferfish, Tropical Fish
  • Treasures: Nautilus Shell, Name Tag, Saddle (Increases with level)
  • Gear: Bow, Fishing Rod, Enchanted Book (Always comes with enchants)

LEVEL PROGRESSION:

  • Level 0: 80% Fish / 20% Treasure (Enchant Lv 1-2)
  • Level 1: 70% Fish / 30% Treasure (Enchant Lv 1-3)
  • Level 2: 60% Fish / 40% Treasure (Enchant Lv 3-5)
  • Level 3: 50% Fish / 50% Treasure (Enchant Lv 3-5)
  • Level 4: 40% Fish / 60% Treasure (Enchant Lv 3-5)
  • Level 5: 30% Fish / 70% Treasure (Enchant Lv 3-5)

FLETCHER

Description: Ranged weapon specialist. Provides crossbow parts and Copper Boom munitions.

CRAFTING & PROCESSING (Level 0+):

  • 2 Sticks + 1 Tripwire Hook -> 1 Crossbow
  • 3 Sticks -> 1 Bow
  • 2 Copper Ingots + 1 Gunpowder -> 1 Copper Boom (fv:copper_boom)

LEVEL REWARDS (Per Work Cycle):

  • Level 0: 8 Arrows + 8 Sticks
  • Level 1: 16 Arrows + 16 Sticks
  • Level 2: 20 Arrows + 1 Copper Boom
  • Level 3: 24 Arrows + 2 Copper Booms

LEATHERWORKER

Description: Riding gear expert. Can upgrade horse armor to Netherite grade.

CRAFTING & PROCESSING (Level 0+):

  • 10 Diamonds/Iron/Copper/Gold -> 1 Respective Horse Armor
  • 1 Diamond Horse Armor + 1 Netherite Ingot -> 1 Netherite Horse Armor
  • 4 Turtle Scutes -> 1 Turtle Helmet
  • 6 Armadillo Scutes -> 1 Wolf Armor

LEVEL REWARDS (Per Work Cycle):

  • Level 0: 1 Leather
  • Level 1: 1 Leather + 50% chance for 1 Saddle
  • Level 2: 2 Leather + 2 Rabbit Hides + 50% for 1 Saddle

LIBRARIAN

Description: Knowledge and enchantment master. Consumes XP bottles to imbue magic.

ENCHANTING SERVICES (Costs Experience Bottles):

  • Upgrade Full Armor Set: 32 Bottles (Automatic)
  • 1 Book -> 1 Enchanted Book (Lv4): 4 Bottles
  • 1 Tool/Weapon -> Enchanted (Lv5 - 2 Rolls): 12 Bottles
  • 1 Armor Piece -> Enchanted (Lv5 - 1 Roll): 8 Bottles

LEVEL REWARDS (Per Work Cycle):

  • Level 0: 8 Experience Bottles

ARMORER

Description: Smelting specialist. Refines raw materials with increasing efficiency.

Passive Perk: Holding a Pickaxe allows collecting raw ores from Rock Tortoises.

REFINING STATS BY LEVEL:

  • Level 0: 9 Nuggets per Ingot | 32 Fuel Cost | 2 Charcoal Reward
  • Level 1: 8 Nuggets per Ingot | 30 Fuel Cost | 4 Charcoal Reward
  • Level 2: 7 Nuggets per Ingot | 28 Fuel Cost | 6 Charcoal Reward
  • Level 3: 6 Nuggets per Ingot | 26 Fuel Cost | 8 Charcoal Reward
  • Level 4: 5 Nuggets per Ingot | 24 Fuel Cost | 10 Charcoal Reward
  • Level 5: 4 Nuggets per Ingot | 22 Fuel Cost | 12 Charcoal Reward

MASON

Description: Stone architect. The only profession capable of awakening the Rock Tortoise.

Passive Perk: Can feed nearby Rock Tortoises.

CRAFTING & PROCESSING (Level 0+):

  • 1 Cobblestone -> 1 Stone
  • 1 Stone -> 1 Stone Bricks
  • 4 Bricks -> 1 Brick Block
  • 1 Stone Heart (fv:heart_of_stone) -> 1 Rock Tortoise Spawn Egg

LEVEL REWARDS (Per Work Cycle):

  • Level 0: 8 Cobblestone
  • Level 1: 16 Cobblestone
  • Level 2: 24 Cobblestone
  • Level 3: 32 Cobblestone

SHEPHERD

Description: Textile and color master. Crafts Team Horns for commanding squads.

Special Skill: Automatically shears nearby sheep.

CRAFTING & PROCESSING (Level 0+):

  • 3 Wool + 2 Planks -> 1 Bed (Color matches wool)
  • 1 Goat Horn + Yellow Dye -> 1 Team Call Horn
  • 1 Goat Horn + Green Dye -> 1 Team Stand Horn
  • 1 Goat Horn + Red Dye -> 1 Team Attack Horn

LEVEL REWARDS (Per Work Cycle):

  • Level 0: 1 Random Dye + 50% Bed
  • Level 1: 2 Dyes + 50% Bed + 50% Shears
  • Level 2: 3 Dyes + 50% Bed + 50% Shears + 50% Armor Stand
  • Level 3: 4 Dyes + 50% Bed + 50% Armor Stand + 50% for 2 Feathers
  • Level 4: 5 Dyes + 50% Bed + 50% Armor Stand + 50% Feathers + 50% Painting

TOOLSMITH (Military Supplies)

Description: Logistics expert. Capable of mass-producing full armor sets and gear.

Special Skill: Automatically repairs durability of all gear in inventory.

CRAFTING & UPGRADES:

  • 20 Ingots -> 1 Full Set Armor (Diamond/Iron/Copper/Gold)
  • 3 Ingots -> 1 Pickaxe
  • 2 Ingots -> 1 Hoe
  • 1 Ingot -> 1 Shovel
  • Netherite Upgrade: 1 Diamond item + 1 Netherite Ingot (Full Set costs 4 ingots)

LEVEL REWARDS (Per Work Cycle - 50/50 Chance):

  • Level 0: Golden Tool / Gold Armor Set
  • Level 1: Stone Tool / Chainmail Armor Set
  • Level 2: Copper Tool / Copper Armor Set
  • Level 3: Iron Tool / Iron Armor Set
  • Level 4: Diamond Tool / Diamond Armor Set
  • Level 5: Guaranteed Diamond Armor Set + Random Diamond Tool/Set

WEAPONSMITH

Description: Combat forge specialist. Crafts weapons in batches and upgrades them to Netherite.

CRAFTING & UPGRADES:

  • 2 Ingots -> 1 Sword (Crafts in batches of 6)
  • 3 Ingots -> 1 Axe (Crafts in batches of 6)
  • 1 Ingot -> 1 Spear (Crafts in batches of 6)
  • Netherite Upgrade: 1 Diamond weapon + 1 Netherite Ingot (Retains Enchants)

LEVEL REWARDS (Per Work Cycle):

  • Level 0: 1 Golden Weapon
  • Level 1: 1 Stone Weapon
  • Level 2: 1 Copper Weapon
  • Level 3: 50% Iron Weapon / 50% Shield
  • Level 4: 50% Diamond Weapon / 50% Shield
  • Level 5: 1 Diamond Weapon + 1 Shield (Guaranteed)

 

Fixed Weapon:

Ballista:

  • Capable of firing large arrows, ranging from copper to netherite tips. Can be purchased from the Villager Builder. Use the Get Back Hammer to construct the ballista, or a Villager Builder holding a Get Back Hammer can do it for you..

Catapult:

  • Can shoot some blocks: brick block, TNT, melon block, pumpkin, magma block, obsidian, cobblestone.

Potato cannon:

  • Can shoot potatoes and exploding potatoes, manual reloading.
  • Put gun powder, then put a potato or Explosive potatoes

Big Potato cannon:

  • Same as a potato cannon, but auto reloading.
  • It has 2 2-slot inventory to store gunpowder and potato or Explosive potatoes

Note: all of fixed Weapon can take back by get back hammer


🛠️ Tools

Military numbers book:

  • This is a type of book that allows you to view your total soldier count, the number of your troops currently nearby, the total soldier counts of other players, and the teams that players have joined.
  • To have your troops counted, you must first identify your soldiers to register them in the records. Identifying them grants you privileges such as complete immunity to damage when your ranged units accidentally hit you, and the ability to use various horns to command your troops.
  • Can craft with a book and a name tag.

For Team:

Team book:

  • This book helps players and their troops join the team.
  • The prerequisite is that their soldiers must be tamed and identified.
  • To fight with other teams, soldiers must be in kill player mode.
  • After joining a team, you can use the Team Book to view the total number of soldiers you have added to the team, as well as the number of your team-enrolled soldiers currently near you.

Identification soldier card:

  • This identification card helps players identify their tamed soldiers and golems.
  • Once identified, their soldiers and golems will deal 0 damage to their master if they accidentally shoot at their master. And they will actively cancel their target if their master is standing in front of them (a feature for ranged units).

Team call horn:

  • This item summons tamed and named villager units. Only the owner's troops can be summoned.

Team Attack horn:

Used to convert all units owned by the player to kill player mode and vice versa.

Recipe: Team call horn + red dye

Team Stand horn:

Used to convert all units owned by the blower to non-moving mode and vice versa.

Recipe: Team call horn + green dye

For Units:

Command Flag:

  • Gathers all the villager soldier units.
  • Also used to interact with soldier units.
  • Sold by the mysterious merchant.

Melee Banner Summoner:

  • A banner that gathers melee units.
  • Sold by the mysterious merchant.
  • Can select specific melee units to perform instantaneous teleportation.

Ranged Banner Summoner:

  • A banner that gathers ranged units.
  • Sold by the mysterious merchant.
  • Can select specific ranged units to perform instantaneous teleportation.

For Golems:

Copper Wrench:

  • Repairs and restores bronze golems into item form.
  • Can only be used if the golem is tamed.

Get-Back Hammer:

  • Restores any tamed golem into item form.
  • And use for building a catapult, and can be equipped by a villager builder

🪖 Units

Villager Builder:

  • This is a builder, but not building houses, but building structures like catapults and other futuristic things.

Miner Trader:

  • He is a free villager who enjoys mining and trading with players.

Villager Soldiers

  • All villager soldier units can be tamed with emeralds.
  • Can be led by any banner the player holds.

Villager Melee:

  • Customizable armor and weapons.
  • Uses swords, axes, and shields.
  • Give any sword or axe to a villager to turn them into a melee soldier.

Villager Ranged:

  • Customizable armor and weapons.
  • Uses bows and crossbows (cannot use shields).
  • Give a bow or crossbow to a villager to make them a ranged soldier.

Villager Cavalry:

  • Customizable armor, weapons, and horse armor (except leather horse armor).
  • Give any banner to a villager cavalry to assign them as a captain.
  • Give a melee villager a saddled steed to promote them to cavalry.

Villager Camel:

Customizable armor and weapons.

Give any banner to assign them as a captain.

Give a melee villager a saddled camel war mount to turn them into a camel soldier.

Villager camels have a slot for a ranged soldier to ride along.

Steed and Camel War:

  • Purchase from the mysterious trader at the best (random% %) trade rate.

Free Handle Paper:

  • Here is an item makes a villager become a villager free handle. Villager's free handle can become any special villager and soldiers.

Discharge Letter:

  • Give to any soldier to revert them into a normal villager.

🛡️ Golems

Big Tortoise:

  • Can buy it from the Villager Builder.

Big Tortoise carry Turret:

  • Give a carriage platform to the big tortoise.
  • Can tame. When tamed, the owner can dye.
  • Capable of carrying various turret types, such as the Bamboo Turret, Melon Turret, Copper Watcher Golem, and Shooter Turret.

Carriage platform:

  • Can buy from Villager Builder

Heavy Tortoise:

  • Give a big potato cannon to a big tortoise.
  • Can tame. When tamed, the owner can dye.
  • The Tortoise will only fire at enemies if there are ballista arrows in the inventory.

Heavy Tortoise with Ballista:

  • Give a ballista to a big tortoise.
  • Can tame. When tamed, the owner can dye.
  • The Tortoise will only fire at enemies if there are ballista arrows in the inventory.

Rock Tortoise:

  • This turtle can consume stone and deepslate stone, then excrete minerals in the stone such as iron, copper, and diamonds.

Iron Golem Guard:

  • It can be tamed with an emerald.

Bamboo Turret:

No tame:

Tamed:

  • Non-tameable and tamed versions available.

Melon Golem:

No tame:

Tamed:

  • Non-tameable and tamed versions available.

Copper Watcher:

  • Special guard golem.
  • Uses long-range weapons.
  • Can wear helmets and chest armor.
  • Tameable.

Shooter:

  • Rapid-fire sentry golem.
  • Fires multiple arrows quickly over a long range.
  • Tameable.

Hay Golem:

  • An agricultural golem.
  • Helps harvest and grow vanilla crops.
  • Tameable.
