Stop chasing dropped items. Item Magnet quietly pulls nearby dropped items and XP orbs toward you and drops them into pickup range, so mob loot, mined blocks, and experience come to you instead of scattering across the ground. Set exactly how far the magnet reaches with a single slider.

Item Magnet is a lightweight, Stable-API Minecraft Bedrock add-on: no Experiments required, works in singleplayer and multiplayer, and your world stays Achievements Enabled. It runs perfectly on its own, and plugs straight into the VectorLock unified menu if you use other add-ons in the suite.

🧲 What It Does

When Item Magnet is on, any dropped item or XP orb within your set range is gently pulled toward you until it's close enough to pick up. No commands, no walking over every single drop — farm mobs, clear a mine, or harvest a field and the loot follows you in.

Pulls dropped items — mob drops, mined blocks, harvested crops, anything on the ground
Pulls XP orbs too — sweep up experience after a grind without hunting for stray orbs
Adjustable Magnet Range — one slider from 3 to 20 blocks (default 8)
Toggle on/off anytime — turn the magnet off instantly when you'd rather leave drops where they land

🎮 How to Use

Install the pack (see below) and enter your world.
Item Magnet is on by default — nearby drops and XP start drifting toward you.
Open the settings screen anytime: Sneak + use a Compass.
In the menu you can toggle Item Magnet on/off and drag the Magnet Range slider to set how far it reaches.

📥 Installation

Download VectorLock-ItemMagnet.mcaddon.
Open the file (double-click, or import it into Minecraft).
Create or edit a world → Behavior Packs → activate "Vector Lock Item Magnet."
Start the world — nearby items and XP start pulling toward you.

Settings are saved to the world, so they persist even if you re-import the pack later.

❓ FAQ / Troubleshooting

Do I need to turn on Experiments?
No. Item Magnet uses the Stable Script API — leave all Experiments off.

Will it disable my achievements?
No. The pack declares itself as an add-on per Minecraft's official spec, so your world remains Achievements Enabled. (Note: enabling Cheats or Experiments, or switching to Creative, disables achievements — that's vanilla Minecraft behavior, not this pack.)

Does it pull experience orbs, or just items?
Both. Dropped items and XP orbs within your Magnet Range are pulled toward you.

How do I change how far it reaches?
Open Sneak + Compass and drag the Magnet Range slider (3–20 blocks).

Nothing is getting pulled.
Make sure the Behavior Pack is activated on the world, open Sneak + Compass, confirm Item Magnet is toggled ON, and that the drops are within your Magnet Range.

Can I turn it off temporarily?
Yes — just toggle Item Magnet off in the menu; drops will stay where they land until you turn it back on.

Does it work on Realms / servers?
Yes, as long as the host supports Script API behavior packs and the pack is applied to the world.

Can I use it with other add-ons?
Yes. It runs solo, and if you install VectorLock Core it auto-joins one shared menu with the rest of the suite.
