Description
Vanilla Normals Renewed adds PBR support to the vanilla minecraft textures, giving per-pixel control over the rough, metallic, and emissive properties of each block, as well as directional lighting, adding realism to the default resource pack.
It requires Minecraft for Windows Ten with a graphics card that supports DXR (GTX 10XX series to RTX 30XX series) or you will not notice a difference. It will not have an effect on any other platform.
This is a port of Poudingue's pack of the same name.
The water material setup was shamelessly stolen from MazeWave's Vanilla Raytraced pack for Bedrock.
I may or may not continue to update this for newer versions, as it takes more than a little effort to convert a Java shader compatible resource pack to a Bedrock RTX one. Feel free to let me know if you encounter any bugs or visual glitches; I'll try to investigate and fix them if I can.
