Unbreaking IV-X Tomes

This Minecraft Bedrock add-on adds Unbreaking level‑IV through X tomes that extend the durability of your tools, weapons and armor far beyond the vanilla limit. Each tome is its own custom item with a texture and stackable up to 16.

• **Extended Unbreaking levels:** Apply Unbreaking levels 4–10 (IV–X) to any tool, weapon or armor piece that has durability. The level is stored on the item using dynamic properties, so it persists even after the item is dropped or transferred.
• **Survival friendly:** Use the tomes without entering commands or creative mode. Simply put the tome in your hotbar and hold it. Place the target item in the adjacent hotbar slot (to the right if possible, otherwise left). Use the tome and it will apply its level to the adjacent item.
• **True durability math:** The script uses the same formula as the vanilla Unbreaking enchantment. An Unbreaking X item only has a 9.09 % chance of taking durability damage per use, so it lasts roughly 11× longer than a normal item. Lower levels (IV–IX) follow the same 1/(level+1) chance-to-damage formula.
• **All vanilla tools work:** Works with any item that has durability – axes, pickaxes, shovels, hoes, swords, bows, fishing rods, shears, shields and armor.
• **Beta API required:** When enabling the pack, make sure to turn on **Beta APIs** and **Data‑Driven Items** experiments. The add-on uses the  @minecraft/server Script API (v2.5.0) to intercept block break events and adjust durability.

To obtain tomes, search for “Unbreaking” in the creative inventory, or use commands such as:
