True Blade: Combat Overhaul

Fight like a martial-arts hero! True Blade: Combat Overhaul turns Minecraft fights into fast, flowing duels with sword and spear combos, special skills, dodging, parrying and wuxia-style movement.

From a quick four-hit combo to a leap off a wall mid-slash, every fight feels fast and alive.

Master the sword and spear

Chain a fast 4-hit light combo or 3 powerful heavy hits, then unleash special skills:

• Sword: Thunderclap Strike with two follow-ups, Phantom Retreat (a quick dodge back, then a flurry of strikes), the charged Drifting Edge, and a sprint attack.
• Spear: Jade Palm Seal, the Mountain Breaker lunge, and Coiling Dragon. Land Mountain Breaker and Coiling Dragon becomes its stronger Ascendant form for a few seconds.

Special skills run on Chi, the red bar, which refills while you aren't sprinting.

Dodge, parry, counter

Read your opponent and strike back:

• Dodge: A quick step with brief invincibility.
• Parry: Tap at the right moment, just before a hit lands.
• Perfect timing: A perfect dodge or parry makes your next attack hit harder.
• Break their balance: Hits launch and stagger. Keep up the pressure and your opponent's Balance bar breaks, stunning them for a moment.

Move like the wind

Lightness Skills let you cross the world like a wuxia hero:

• Jumps: Double and triple jump, with a tuck and a front flip.
• Air dash: Dash through the air in the direction you steer, then glide down.
• Wall running: Sprint straight up walls with your feet on the wall, run across them, hang, slide down, and vault over the top.
• Wall jumps: Kick off a wall into a back flip.
• Slide: Drop low while sprinting.
• Aerial attacks: Slam down from above, or strike from a wall run.

Movement runs on Qi, the blue bar, which refills fast when you land. No fall damage right after any of these moves.

The Windswept Bow

A two-handed bow built for quick fights. Tap for a fast shot or hold for a charged piercing shot. Fire it without putting your sword or spear away, as long as the bow is in your inventory. Any arrow works, and tipped arrows apply their effect on hit.

Easy to start

Your swords, spears and bows turn into their True Blade versions automatically, keeping their enchantments, names and durability. Every player also receives a True Blade Guide the first time they join: an in-game book with every control, shown for keyboard or controller to match how you play.

Every move animated

Enjoy custom animations, sword trails and hit effects for every attack and movement skill. Switch to third-person view to see them all.

Made for Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.26.50 or newer, with no experimental toggles needed. Works with keyboard, mouse or controller. Activate both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack in your world, grab a sword, and start your training!
