From atmospheric changes and storm development to tornado formation and environmental destruction, the addon aims to create an evolving weather event rather than simply spawning a stationary tornado entity.

 

Summon a tornado in your world, observe its development, experience its destructive effects and explore the aftermath once the event has ended.

⚙️ IMPORTANT GAMEPLAY INFORMATION

 

Please read the following before playing:

 

- Only one active tornado is supported at a time.

- The previous tornado must finish before another can be activated.

- Repair operations require the affected chunks to be loaded near a player.

- Performance may vary depending on your device, world and simulation conditions.

📱 MINECRAFT VERSION COMPATIBILITY

 

Minimum declared Minecraft engine version: 1.26.51

 

The addon manifests specify the following Script API dependencies:

 

- "@minecraft/server" — 2.10.0

- "@minecraft/server-ui" — 2.1.0

 

Please ensure your Minecraft installation supports these dependencies.

 

Compatibility with other Minecraft versions is not guaranteed unless tested.

⚙️ WORLD SETUP & INSTALLATION

 

Follow these steps to install and use Tornado Simulator:

 

1. Import the addon

 

Download and open the ".mcaddon" file to import it into Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

 

2. Create or edit a world

 

Open the world settings before entering your world.

 

3. Activate the Behavior Pack

 

Navigate to Behavior Packs and activate:

 

"Tornado 6.9.1 - Behavior"

 

4. Activate the Resource Pack

 

Navigate to Resource Packs and activate:

 

"Tornado 6.9.1 - Resources"

 

5. Check your world settings

 

Ensure both packs are enabled for the world.

 

6. Create or load your world

 

You can now enter your world and use the addon.

 

Experimental Settings

 

The addon manifests do not declare any specific experimental toggles as required.

 

Therefore, no particular experimental setting is listed as mandatory for installation. Avoid enabling unrelated experimental features unless a future update specifically requires them.

 

Important: Both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack are required for the complete addon experience.

🧪 BETA RELEASE — VERSION 6.9.1

 

Tornado Simulator 6.9.1 is currently a BETA release.

 

The core tornado experience has been tested in an actual Minecraft world, including tornado formation, environmental destruction, custom audio and tornado dissipation.

 

However, development and testing are ongoing. Some systems may still have limitations, and future updates may introduce improvements, optimizations and bug fixes.

 

What to expect from future updates:
