Tiny Dino Companions 0.6.0 Alpha
Six adorable pastel dinosaurs and a flying Pteranodon for Minecraft Bedrock. Tame, heal and breed your companions, ask them to sit or stand, and decorate their home with three craftable decorative blocks.
0.6.0 Alpha — local candidate
- Tapered Pteranodon beak and three narrowing wing sections.
- Sunny folds its feet while flying and returns smoothly to the ground pose.
- Correct alternating leg movement for both Sunny and Pebble.
- Softer Triceratops frill, tapered horns and Stegosaurus plates.
- Beveled Ankylosaurus armor with freshly mapped material details.
- Build and packaging tools protect previously published versions.
- Corrected project copy and publication status.
0.5.1 Alpha
- One continuous pupil across each front/side head corner, with a single highlight per eye.
- Removes the duplicated front-and-side pupil appearance from angled views.
- Corrects the reversed right-side eye/cheek placement, so that eye sits at the front corner too.
- Models, animations and gameplay are unchanged from 0.5.0.
0.5.0 Alpha
- Slower breathing, little head tilts and gentle tail motion with species-specific timing.
- Smoothed look direction and transitions between moving, standing and resting.
- Smaller walking strides and body bob.
- Sunny folds wings backward when resting, with smooth transitions to standing and flight.
- Textures, models, gameplay, recipes and accessories retained from 0.4.2.
0.4.2 Alpha
- Fine scalloped scales and quiet species-specific secondary marks.
- Delicate frill and plate lines, armor details, wing membrane rays and pearly freckles.
- Horn rings, small toe pads, muzzle freckles and detailed Sunny beak.
- Keeps the soft palette and 0.4.1 geometry; all native behaviors are unchanged.
0.4.1 Alpha
- Softer companion colours, gentler scale and species markings, rosy cheeks and a muted coral collar.
- Small native cuboid bevels soften heads, muzzles, bodies and tails; facial UV features stay continuous.
- All seven native behaviors, flight and recipes are unchanged.
0.4.0 Alpha
Added Sunny / Sol, a butter-yellow flying Pteranodon with peach membranous wings, backward crest, wing-flap and folded-rest animation. Raw cod for taming, healing and breeding. Seven prehistoric friends in total.
Fixed accessory recipe unlock data required by modern Bedrock.
Includes the clearer facial/scale textures, front-and-side corner eyes, three craftable decorations and activity guides introduced during 0.3.0 development.
0.3.0 Alpha
Clearer stepped scales and unique species markings for all six dinosaurs.
Readable eyes wrap both front corners onto the sides; explicit per-face UV mapping keeps facial features visible. Added rosy cheeks, nostrils and gentle smiles.
Three craftable decorative blocks: Cozy Dino Nest, Pastel Play Ball and Dino Snack Bowl, with custom geometry, recipes and drops.
Activity guide: owner-follow walking course, picnic and same-species nursery.
No automatic feeding, storage, sleeping or fetch behavior is claimed.
Tiny Dino Companions 0.2.0 — six little dinosaur friends
New companions: Willow the Brachiosaurus, Maple the Ankylosaurus and Poppy
the Parasaurolophus. Each has an original silhouette, its own pastel palette,
favorite food, custom face spawn egg and English/Swedish names.
All six share native taming, owner follow/sit, healing, same-species breeding,
half-size babies and 20-minute natural growth. The new species have their own
neck, armor/club-tail and crest geometry with compatible walk/rest animations.
All original companions receive the texture refresh: expressive eyes, soft
belly shading, subtle scale clusters and markings, detailed horns/back plates,
feet, coral collars and golden bells. No required experiments or shipped scripts.
Local Alpha. See QA-REPORT.md for completed checks and coverage limitations.
Validation: eleven static and regression checks pass. All seven species passed the Bedrock 1.26.40.8 server interaction suite, including native Pteranodon flight. Current 0.6.0 model and animation changes have diagnostic visual checks but have NOT yet been checked in the Minecraft client. Native client v26.52 evidence belongs to the earlier 0.5.1 release. Mobile, controller and two-player verification remain incomplete. Alpha: use a new test world.
