They Come After Dark is a Minecraft Bedrock horror addon that adds 5 terrifying 2D PNG creatures into your world, each with its own creepy behavior, special event, warning messages, and way of hunting you.

These creatures are not normal Minecraft mobs. They are designed to feel like something is actually watching you, following you, and waiting for the right moment to attack. 👀

Once night falls… you may not be alone.

👹 FIVE HORROR CREATURES

Each creature has its own appearance and encounter style.

Some may appear behind you.
Some may stand in the distance and watch.
Some will immediately begin chasing you.
And some become even more dangerous depending on what YOU do. 😨

Their strange 2D PNG appearance makes them look completely out of place inside Minecraft — exactly how a horror creature should feel.

🧗 THEY CAN ACTUALLY FOLLOW YOU

Running up a hill won't always save you anymore.

The creatures can:

• 🧗 Climb walls and blocks
• 🦘 Jump over 1-block obstacles like a player
• 🏃 Chase players
• 👊 Attack when they get close
• 👁️ Stalk and observe you
• 🌙 Appear during horror encounters
• 💬 Show creepy titles and action-bar warnings
• 😈 React differently depending on the event
• 🎲 Appear through randomized encounters
• ☠️ Join together during the final hunt

If you climb onto something thinking you're safe, they may simply climb after you.

💬 THE WARNINGS ACTUALLY MATTER

The messages aren't just decoration.

When a creature says something through the title or action bar, it is connected to what the creature is actually doing.

You might see messages such as:

DON'T TURN AROUND.

IT'S WATCHING YOU.

DO NOT LET IT GET CLOSE.

RUN.

And sometimes following the warning is exactly what keeps you alive. 👁️

Ignoring it may make the encounter much worse.

👀 THE WATCHER

The Watcher doesn't always need to rush toward you.

Sometimes it simply stands there.

Watching.

Waiting.

You may notice it between trees, beside a structure, or somewhere you swear was empty a few seconds ago.

Then it starts moving. 🕷️

😱 HOLLOW STALKER

You hear nothing.

You turn around.

It is there.

The Hollow Stalker is tall, thin, and unnatural, with extremely long arms and a pale distorted face.

When you receive the warning:

DON'T TURN AROUND.

You might want to listen.

Because once the encounter changes… running becomes much harder. 🏃💨

🔺 TRIANGLE MOURNER

A towering creature with a disturbing triangular head and a huge black mouth.

It may appear farther away at first.

That's the good news.

The bad news?

It doesn't plan on staying there.

Do not let it get close. ⚠️

😵 LONGNECK

Longneck has an unnatural stretched neck and pale face that makes it easy to recognize…

Unfortunately, seeing it usually means the encounter has already started.

Its strange shape makes it look like something Minecraft was never supposed to contain.

💪 THE BRUTE

Unlike the others, the Brute isn't interested in quietly watching you.

It is big.

It is aggressive.

And when it decides to chase you, expect a much more direct fight for survival. 💥

🎲 RANDOM HORROR EVENTS

You don't always know what creature is coming.

The addon includes random encounters that can select different monsters and events.

One night may be quiet.

Another night may turn into complete chaos.

That uncertainty is part of the horror. 🌘

☠️ THE FINAL HUNT

One monster is bad enough.

Now imagine all five.

The Final Hunt event releases every creature around the player.

They can chase you.

They can jump obstacles.

They can climb after you.

And the only message you need is:
