✨ Key Features

🌍 Dynamic Biome Climates (Köppen Classification)

Biomes are no longer just visual differences. Based on real-world climate classifications, temperatures and water temperatures fluctuate smoothly throughout the day using sine wave models.

Deserts: Blistering 47°C during the day, plummeting to a freezing 14°C at night.

Jungles: Humid and suffocating. Sweat won't evaporate, creating a deadly "wet-bulb" environment where heatstroke is imminent without water.

Frozen Peaks: Sub-zero temperatures where standing still means freezing to death.

📊 Environment HUD

Keep track of your surroundings with a real-time Action Bar HUD that displays your Core Temp, Ambient Air Temp, Water Temp, and Weather. (Note: Instruments will malfunction and show "N/A" in otherworldly dimensions like the Nether and End!)

💧 The Threat of Water & Wetness

Water conducts heat 25 times faster than air! Plunging into a frozen ocean will rapidly induce severe hypothermia. Even after stepping out, wet clothes will continue to steal your body heat through evaporative cooling. Dry off quickly by standing near a campfire!

👕 Clothing Insulation (Clo Value)

Leather armor provides excellent insulation against the cold but will trap heat in the desert, accelerating heatstroke. Metallic armor (Iron, Gold, Chainmail) has high thermal conductivity, transmitting extreme heat or cold directly to your skin. Choose your gear wisely based on your destination!

🏃‍♂️ Physiological Responses

Your body reacts naturally to survive:

Shivering: Automatically generates heat when cold, but rapidly drains your hunger bar.

Sweating: Cools you down in hot environments, but consumes hidden hydration/hunger.

Digestion Heat: Eating food slightly raises your body temperature for a few minutes. "Eat meat when you're cold!"

Fever: Getting the Hunger effect (e.g., from Rotten Flesh) simulates an immune response, forcing a 39°C fever accompanied by severe chills.

Hydration: Drinking water bottles/potions instantly cools your core from the inside and relieves fever.

⛺ Environmental Interactions

Direct sunlight adds radiant heat. Seek shade or caves to cool down.

Campfires, lava, and torches emit localized heat. Ice and snow drain it.

Huddling together with other players or animals (within 3 blocks) provides shared body warmth in cold environments.

⚠️ Penalties & Death

If your core body temperature deviates from the normal range (36.0°C - 37.0°C):

Hypothermia (< 35.0°C): Shivering (Hunger depletion).

Severe Hypothermia (< 34.0°C): Mining Fatigue, Slowness.

Hyperthermia (> 38.0°C): Heavy Sweating (Hunger depletion).

Severe Hyperthermia (> 39.0°C): Nausea, Weakness.

Lethal Limits (<= 33.0°C or >= 40.0°C): Death by freezing or heatstroke.

You can customize the experience using custom commands (No cheats required, OP recommended):

/thermo:diff : Change the speed of temperature fluctuations.

/thermo:hud : Toggle the environment HUD (Air/Water Temp, Weather). (Default: on)

/thermo:log : Toggle the real-time thermodynamic debug log. (Default: off)
