Lore
LORE
Long before the first block was placed, in the age when the world was but a whisper in the cosmos, there existed a being known as the Storyteller. He was neither man nor god, but a wanderer between realms, collecting tales from the farthest reaches of existence. With a lantern in one hand and a bell in the other, he traversed the void, gathering stories from the great beyond and beyond that.
It is said that the Storyteller's lantern contained the light of a thousand stars, each flicker a memory of a forgotten age. His bell, when rung, echoed through the fabric of reality, summoning the lost and the damned to listen to his tales. He carried with him tomes of ancient knowledge, chronicles of wars long past, and songs of civilizations that had crumbled to dust.
But the Storyteller was not merely a collector of tales; he was a keeper of secrets. Legends speak of a forbidden story, one so powerful that to read it would unravel the very fabric of the world. This tale, known only to the Storyteller, was hidden away in the deepest recesses of his collection, guarded by curses and traps designed to deter the most daring adventurers.
Over time, the Storyteller's presence became a myth, a bedtime story told to frighten children. But those who dared to venture into the darkest corners of the world began to encounter him once more. He would appear without warning, a flicker of light in the distance, followed by the tolling of his bell. And when he was defeated, he would vanish, only to return again, his stories more twisted, his presence more unsettling.
Some say the Storyteller is not a mere mortal, but a manifestation of the world's collective memories and nightmares. Others believe he is a forgotten god, cursed to wander the realms, eternally collecting and recounting the tales of the lost and the damned. But one thing is certain: the Storyteller is always watching, always listening, and always waiting.
