Description

The Sift: Experience

Step through a portal hidden in an Ancient City and explore a strange dimension of pink hills, pale weeping forests, red canyons, and glowing fungal fields. It is home to creatures that live nowhere else, bosses guarding pieces of legendary armor, and a world that changes with the tides.

Getting In and Out

  • Find an Ancient City and its big reinforced deepslate frame.
  • Stand near the frame with a jukebox and play Music Disc 5. The frame fills with a portal.
  • Step in and you land on solid ground near the centre of the Sift.
  • You can also use /sift:travel at any time.
  • Use /sift:find to locate the nearest biome, boss arena or landmark.
  • The only way home is a Rift. A glowing orange, cross-shaped Rift tears open a few blocks ahead of you every couple of minutes and stays open for about 2 minutes. Walk into it to go home. If you miss it, wait for the next one.

Biomes

The Ravines Deep cuts in the Huskland where echoes gather
Wild Sporefields Giant glowing fungi and drifting spores
Ichor Ponds Shimmering pools that slow you down; creatures never spawn on them
