The Global Events System: Version 3.1.0 Changelog — "The Omen & RPG Update"

Welcome to the massive overhaul of The Global Events addon! We have completely rewritten the core system to be more immersive, performant, and user-friendly.

NEW: The "Omen" Warning System (Build Suspense!)

Events no longer just magically drop on top of you without warning. Deadly and massive events now build suspense!

• Immersive Delays: Events like Meteor Strikes, Bandit Ambushes, and Boss Spawns now feature a 2 to 4-second delay before triggering.
• Cinematic Warnings: You will now receive terrifying warning text (e.g., "§cThe sky begins to glow intensely hot…"), eerie ambient sound effects, and screen-shaking camera effects right before disaster strikes!

NEW: Physical Loot Chest Spawning

Items magically appearing in your hotbar is a thing of the past.

• Added the new spawn_loot_chest action! Good-luck events (like Supply Crates, Sunken Treasure, or Piglin Stashes) will now spawn a physical chest near you.
• These chests use vanilla Minecraft loot tables (Dungeons, Shipwrecks, Bastions) and spawn with a magical totem particle and a chest-opening sound to draw your attention.

NEW: RPG Difficulty Scaling (Player Level Limits)

A brand-new player with zero armor should never trigger a massive boss fight.

• Added a new player_level condition check.
• Hardcore events (like the Bandit King Boss, Diamond Jackpots, and Ghast Bombardments) will now only trigger if the player is a high enough level (e.g., Level 20+). This protects beginners and rewards endgame players!

UI & Admin Upgrades: The Step-by-Step Wizard

We have completely removed the confusing "comma-separated" text boxes for Admins creating custom events!

• Multi-Page Wizard: The "Create New Event" menu is now a foolproof, step-by-step Wizard.
• Dynamic Inputs: Pick your Action Type on Page 1, and Page 2 will automatically adapt to show you exactly what you need (e.g., Sliders for Radius and Mob Count, dropdowns for Effect Levels, etc.).
• You can no longer accidentally crash the menu by typing a setting incorrectly!

Server Performance & Optimization

• Database Caching: Completely rewrote the background tick-loop. The addon now caches your event database into memory instead of reading it every single second.
• Zero Lag: This massive optimization completely removes background lag, making it perfectly optimized for heavily populated Realms and SMP servers.

Event Adjustments

• Updated Defaults: All 50+ built-in events have been updated to utilize the new Omen Warnings, Level Scaling, and Physical Loot Chest features.
• Removed unused/duplicate IDs to keep the database clean and snappy.
