We created this mod with Captain Minecraft and our own ideas, and I have proof.

 

 

 

 

The legend

Long before players began exploring the forest, there was a village that had one 

 

rule:

Never look behind you after sunset.

Nobody knew exactly why.

The villagers would simply say:

“If you see it, don't turn around.”

Children were told that something lived beyond the trees. It never came into the village. It never attacked travelers in the open.

It simply followed them.

From a distance.

Always watching.

Some villagers claimed they saw a tall figure between the trees.

Others saw two glowing eyes.

Some saw a strange shape standing beside their house.

But whenever they turned around to look directly at it...

Nothing......

The first disappearance

One night, a Hunter returned to the village after being out in the forest.

He told everyone something had been following him.

The villagers

 couldn't explain.

He said he saw a tall figure standing approximately 30 blocks behind him.

He walked.

It walked.

He stopped.

It stopped.

He turned around.

Gone.

He continued walking.

A few minutes later...

He saw it again.

But this time it was closer.

Nobody believed him.

The next morning, The Hunter disappeared.

His belongings were found outside the village.

His footprints continued into the forest.

Then suddenly...

they stopped.

There were no signs of a struggle.

No blood.

No broken blocks.

Nothing.

Just one thing.

A message carved into a 

 

nearby tree:

“I ONLY WANT TO BE SEEN.”

Eventually the player discovers an old journal inside an abandoned cabin.

The final pages say:

Day 1: Something followed me today.

Day 2: I saw it again.

Day 3: It disappears whenever I look at it.

Day 4: I think it wants me to believe I'm imagining it.

Day 5: It was closer today.

 

Then the final page:

“I finally understand.”

“It doesn't disappear when you turn around.”

“It moves.”

The player thinks:

“When I turn around, it disappears.”

But the reality is:

It isn't disappearing.

It's moving somewhere the player can't see.

For example:

Player:

 

Silent Stalker:

30 blocks behind.

Player turns around:

 

Gone.

Player turns forward again:

 

But now...

The Silent Stalker is behind a tree 20 blocks away.

The player doesn't know this.

And occasionally...

It gets closer.
