Tether Pearl

A mysterious relic dropped by the Endermen of Minecraft...

The Tether Pearl is a rare and powerful item that allows players to harness the power of teleportation for other players. When activated/linked, the enchanted pearl can be used to teleport other players at any time.

Only the most dedicated hunters will obtain one, as Tether Pearls are a rare drop from Endermen. The chance of finding one increases with higher levels of Looting. Tether Pearls can also be obtained through the "items" section in the creative menu. This was an idea I came up with and thought it was worth creating! There is not a single intended use for the Tether Pearl and can be used in several ways like minigames or survival worlds!

How It Works

When you obtain a Tether Pearl, right click any player with it to link it to them. If successful, the pearl will gain an enchanted glint and show the linked player's username within it's lore. Throw the pearl to teleport the linked player wherever it lands! If the linked player is offline when it lands, you will see this message: "Playname is offline" and the Tether Pearl will be returned to your inventory!

No Looting

• 5% chance → 1 Tether Pearl
• 1% chance → 2 Tether Pearls

Looting I

• 7% chance → 1 Tether Pearl
• 3% chance → 2 Tether Pearls
• 1% chance → 3 Tether Pearls

Looting II

• 9% chance → 1 Tether Pearl
• 5% chance → 2 Tether Pearls
• 3% chance → 3 Tether Pearls

Looting III

• 11% chance → 1 Tether Pearl
• 7% chance → 2 Tether Pearls
• 5% chance → 3 Tether Pearls
