TerraNova v0.1.39 Changelog

Disclaimer:

  • This version was released early due to internal issues, therefore it is not completed.
  • Bugs are possible and if you find some bugs then please he sure to report them so I can repair it.

Added:

  • Arcane Blocks!

Added new blocks to accompany the recently added arcane desert which will make it more noticeable and notable! Arcane sand, arcane sandstones! Arcane grasses and arcane berry bushes! Arcane glass and glass panes! (Note: arcane glass panes currently cannot connect to vanilla panes, bars, walls, and can connect to fences.)

  • Cannon!

Added new cannons to TerraNova! Cannons are artillery and siege weapons. You can craft them in metalworking tables or higher. There are currently 4 material types and 1 type of cannon. Cannon requires any powder charge bag, any cannonball, cannon rammer, and linstock. When ignited the cannon will damage nearby entities with fire tick damage due to the vent. When firing the cannon will recoil and move backwards, this movement will damage entities nearby due to kinetic energy, this damage cannot be negated with armour.

  • Cannonball!

Main munition of cannons. When fired, there is a 20% chance that the projectile can break blocks up to stone. Can also be placed as a block and stacked up to 8, the item can be stacked up to 16. Can be crafted using lead or pig iron and any stone crafting materials.

  • Cannon Rammer!

Crafted in crafting table. Primarily used to push munitions and charges down the barrel of cannons. Enchantable and can be repaired with planks.

  • Drakonetian Horn!

A new instrument used to command fire dragons and scare enemies (sound only). Made from fire dragon materials such as steel, leather, and bones.

  • Fences!

New fences that will work and match like vanilla fences. Wood types such as burnt, mulberry, great velanidia, and walnut, will have such fences!

  • Linstock!

Can be crafted in the crafting table. Primarily used to ignite cannons. You can interact or attack the cannon to ignite it. Can also be used similarly to flint and steel (however there's a high chance this will be removed or functionality will be transferred to another weapon). Enchantable and can be repaired with any planks or metal nuggets.

  • Small Shutters!

New small shutters that will now be craftable using burnt, mulberry, great velanidia, and walnut!

  • Powder Charge Bags!

Blackpowder and gunpowder can now be crafted into charge bags with ropes and fabrics. Primarily used as charges for cannons. Can also be placed as a block and stacked up to 4, the item can be stacked up to 16.

  • Stairs!

New stair blocks that'll accompany the slabs that have been added to TerraNova! These include the wood types, fieldstones, marble, and burnt stone bricks.

  • Sulfur Blocks!

finally after all these updates, I finally added both sulfur and raw sulfur blocks!

  • Tables!

New blocks that can now accompany the chairs! They can also connect to eachother. (Current issue is they also connect with other blocks like fences or solid blocks.)

  • Tanks!

currently only available in creative mode. A large vehicle made of steel and iron and requires a lot of fuel to drive. Can be used by 1 player, but recommend on having 2 players. First rider becomes the commander/gunner and second rider becomes the driver. Hold jump to traverse the turret of the tank, jump twice to fire the cannon of the tank. Tank can be loaded with armour piercing or high explosive tank shells. Having 2 riders makes the tank's driving speed be more efficient/faster. Use fuel can to add or remove fuel into the tank. You can activate the tank's engine inside and outside, have no item at hand on the inside or sneak while outside. Tank will explode upon destruction if it has fuel. Tank's movement speed forward, backward, and clockwise and vice versa, is determined if the tank is on the ground, in water, on the air, and more. You can give upgrades to the tank to make it more effective, like the turret traverse upgrade that makes the turret automatically rotate and elevate depending on where the gunner's head rotation is at. When moving the tank's tracks will emit smoke particles and some blocks like grass paths, farmland, and other blocks will change into blocks like dirt and so on. Tanks will damage nearby entities when moving due to kinetic energy. Tanks will break blocks when moving through them.

  • Trapdoors!

New trapdoors will now be available at your disposal using all current TerraNova added wood types, steel and carbon steel!

  • Woods!

Added new 3 wood types! Rubber, Walnut, and Arikedra!
