Remake Notes

Strange World releases its remastered version after four years. This version is based on the old version (V2.5.3) and has been completely remade from the ground up. It is currently still in the testing phase.

When creating a world, please enable "Forthcoming Creator Features" in the Experimental Gameplay settings, otherwise the Addon will not function properly!

The basic content of the current version is as follows:

• Crafting Recipes: 331
• Structures: 39 small and medium structures, 1 large structure
• Particle Effects: 243
• Sound Effects: 146
• Languages: Simplified Chinese, English

New Content

More Items: Added a variety of weapons, tools, and armor. All functional items now have descriptions, allowing players to understand their usage and basic stats. See the item bar screenshot (not all).

More Mobs: New spawnable mobs have been added to every dimension, most of which are hostile. See the mob group screenshot (not all).

BOSS: New bosses have been added to every dimension. For vanilla bosses, the Wither's base strength has been increased, and the Ender Dragon's battle is more enduring.

More Blocks: Added a variety of blocks. New generate-able ores have been added to every dimension.

End Outer Islands: Phantom Trees and Dark Phantom Trees will spawn sparsely in the End outer island areas. The farther from the center coordinates, the more numerous and larger the trees become, and special mobs will also spawn.

New Mechanics

Player Enhancement System: Players start with relatively low base stats, which can be permanently increased by using "Player Enhancement Crystals." Enhancements include: max health, bare-handed melee damage, movement speed, knockback resistance, max mana, natural mana regeneration, reduced hunger consumption, and reduced oxygen consumption. Player Enhancement Crystals can be upgraded at the Crystal Imbuing Table.

Mana System: Using functional items consumes mana. Mana can be restored naturally or by consuming Mana Berries. A new mana UI has been added.

Pass System: Players cannot enter the Nether or the End in the early game. They must complete specific processes to unlock the corresponding passage permissions.

Game Progression

This Addon adds a lot of new content to the vanilla progression and restricts players from traveling to other dimensions in the early game. For details, please refer to the "Game Progression" feature in the in-game item "Manual of Strange," which will outline the complete game completion route for this Addon.

Future Updates

The Addon has now reached the technical capability to create custom dimensions. Future versions will introduce new dimensions and corresponding biomes.
The current number of mobs, equipment, blocks, and structures is still below expectations, and will require a long period of updates to make up for it.
Even without a large following, this Addon will continue to be updated.

Special Notes

Since this Addon modifies player files, there may be compatibility issues with other Addons that also modify player files.
It is recommended to include this Addon when creating a world. If added to an already created world, errors may occur for a short time, but the script will determine whether this world has previously run this Addon and promptly fix the issue.
This Addon adds an additional crosshair to the center of the screen. If the crosshair is not centered, adjust the safe zone settings and the game will automatically center it.
When using version 0.4.0 or later of this Addon, player enhancement levels from worlds created with older versions will be reset!

Author's Note

The original intention behind creating this Addon has always been to bring joy to everyone, which has been the driving force behind its quiet updates over the past four years. The reason it hasn't been released sooner is simply that I have been learning while developing it.
This Addon was made independently by the author alone, which was no easy task. Please forgive any shortcomings, and feedback to the author is always welcome.
