Steve quest reforged

Steve quest is an addon inspired by favermysabre's minecraft series Rainbow quest , Twisted rainbow and Steve legends.

 

Story Quest

Some of the content in this addon are locked behind the story quest feature, which can be started when you encounter the Quest maker npc. He has a chance of spawning at Colorless camps, tents, and outposts. Discover the story of this world and help the Steves deal with threats they may face along the way.

 

 

Mobs:

There are mainly only three types of npc characters as of right now

 

Steves:

 

-Red Steve

-Orange Steve

-Yellow Steve

-Green Steve

-Blue Steve

-Indigo Steve

-Violet Steve

The main 7 colored Steves are not hostile by default. They can be befriended using heart of friendship and will follow player around and attack any threat to the player. 

 

 

Light Steve 

 

Light Steve is far stronger than the other colored steves, and he will attack any hostile mobs around, regularless if he is befriended or not. He can only be found when starting the main story quests, and he will help you along the way.

 

Rainbow Steve

 

Just like Light Steve, Rainbow has more health and does more damage than the regular steves, and he will fight any hostiles.

 

Dark steve

After defeating the dark steve boss, the darkness looses hold over him and he becomes friendly.

 

 

Plague steve

Plague steve can only be encountered in the main story quest, after defeating him as a boss, he will be available to be befriended and bring onto your team. Plague steve is also the key to getting certain items.

 

Colorless guards

 

They can be found roaming in every biome in the overworld. The colorless guards can spawn in teams of 2-5 members. They are hostile to enemies but can not be befriended. They can also be found at camps or small tents shattered in forest biomes

 

 

Colorless Captain

A stronger member of the Colorless guard faction, he does not only have more health, but also a special ability. When the Captain is defeated, he will get knocked on the ground instead of being eliminated, and after a few seconds, he will stand back up and restore all his health.

-Diamond steve

Each one of these steves have different different abilities and weaknesses compared to the others. Forest steves can jump high, Desert Steve turn into glass when on fire, Ocean steves can not stay on land, Winter steves can freeze water Obsidian steves have a lot of HP and Diamond steves are very fast. They can all be befriended

 

Darkness enemies:

 

The darkness is the main threat that this addon adds to your world. They are a group of enemies which are hostile to the player and the steves.

 

Darkness

 

The basic darkness can be found in the darklands biome or at small darkness nodes, they can spawn in any biome and will immediately be hostile to you. They will drop 1 shadow stone and 1 gold

 

Darkness beast

 

A rare type of darkness you'll encounter is the darkness beast, a far larger varient which has more health and packs a punch. However it is far slower. It will drop 8 shadow stone and 8 gold. They only spawn in at large darkness nodes or the darklands

 

 

Faceless

Faceless will spawn in disguised as other steves until the player gets close, then he reveals himself. He will apply blindness and nausea to the player if attacked, he will also go invisible to trick the player.

 

 

Nightmare steve

 

Nightmare steve is a boss type enemy, who has 250 health. He will shoot bursts of fireballs at the player and can teleport out of danger if he wishes. He can be summoned by finding 4 nightmare fragments and using them to craft a heart of nightmare.

 

 

Dark guards

The Dark guards will spawn in camps found across plains and meadow biomes, they are not hostile to the player but will attack any nearby Steves.

 

Reverse steve

Reverse steve can only be found in an extremely rare structure found underground. He was left trapped there as he tried to become a false rainbow steve but failed. If you disable the machine, the boss fight will trigger.

 

Dark steve (Corrupted)

When wandering around, you might run into dark steve, who is being taken over by the darkness. You may try to rescue him, which will result in a boss fight. Defeating Dark steve will result in him becoming friendly. He may also be summoned using the heart of darkness.

 

Other hostiles

 

These enemies are not part of the main darkness faction but they are still a threat to the player and the steves.

 

Corrected sun guards

While they look very simular to colourless guards, these individuals are hostile to the player and steves alike. The corrected sun guards can only be found in camps located in birch forest biomes and will spawn naturally in groups of 2-5 members around the overworld. They are also hostile against darkness enemies.

 

 

Twisteds

These corrupted versions of Steves can only be found in the Twisted forest biome. They are slow, hit harder than most enemies. They can sometimes drop twisted Rainbow stone on elimination.

 

Twisted Rainbow

Although he looks like Rainbow steve, he is not the one we know. This Rainbow steve is the one behind the twisteds, and will not stop until every steve is corrupted. He can be summoned using the Twisted heart which can be crafted with twisted rainbow stone.

 

 

The Viruses

These creatures spawn in the drained fields, they will drain any rainbow block and attack anything in sight. They will drop a completely random item.

 

Demon steves

These steves can only be found in the nether, and are hostile to everything, steves, darkness, evil steves, the player, other hostile mobs and so on. They drop blaze power on elimination.

Items:

 

The addon also adds in a few new items from rainbow quest, Twisted rainbow and Steve legends.

 

Rainbow stone

Rainbow stone can be used in many crafting recipes, especially with power up off hand items. The Rainbow stone block will also scare away darkness.

 

Light stone

Light stone can be used to create colorless guard armor and the colorless spear

 

Shadow stone 

Shadow stone can be dropped by darkness enemies

 

Colourless armor

This armor type is an upgrade of iron, and has an additional resistance immunity to explosion damage.

 

Sun armor

This armor type is an upgrade of iron, and has an additional resistance immunity to fall damage.

 

Dark armor

This armor type is an upgrade of iron, and has an additional resistance immunity to fire damage.

 

Redstone armor

Can be crafted using redstone blocks and a redstore core inside the research table. Less Durability than diamond but has more enchantibility.

 

Power ups Items

These can be created using the research table, and are used to add certain abilities to items when the power up is in your off hand. Note that this works essentially like an arrow, once used, it will be consumed.

 

Power ups include:

-Lightning

-Fireball

-Teleportation

-Darkness minion

-Plague damage radius

 

Plague block

This block resembles a slime block but will spread to nearby grass blocks if not properly contained

 

Redstone core

A redstone emitting block which sticks to other blocks like a slime block. It is also used in many recipes in the research table.

 

Power emitter 

This strange block will summon lightning when it has a redstone signal.

 

Virus remover 

This item deletes any Plague blocks around if it has spread too quickly to break them all.

 

Colorless table

Certain items are locked behind this table, it allows you to craft structures, Colorless gear and much more.

 

Research table

The research table allows you to craft the power ups, better weapons, items to spawn bosses and more

Weapons:

 

The addon adds in new weapons for the player to use in their fight against the darkness.

 

Colored crystals

There are different crystal items which can be found in the seven steve colors along with three other varients: Rainbow, Light and Dark.

 

Redstone staff

A very powerful weapon which can be crafted in the research table, with 9 attack damage an the ability to use power up items with it.

 

Twisted Blade

This can only be dropped by defeating Twisted Rainbow. It can deal 7 attack damage, which will always hit the enemy with lightning. The Twisted Blade can also use power ups.

 

Enhanced Swords

Normal minecraft swords also have an enhanced varient, which allows you to use power ups with them. They can be crafted inside the research table.

 

Spears

There are four new types of spears added in by the addon

-Colorless spear

-Sun spear

-Void spear 

-Obsidian spear

Each of their stats vary, but they are all around the same level of power. Aquring one of these requires the player to combine an iron spear with certain materials.

Biomes:

 

Rainbow Fields 

A sub-biome of the plains biome with rainbow trees. 

Light Hills

These beautiful hills are a sub-biome of the meadows, it is quite rare to come across but contains light trees unique to this area.

Drained fields

This biome used to be a Rainbow fields, however the viruses here have completely drained it of color.

Twisted Forest

A varient of the birch forest biome, where Twisted Rainbow has taken over and corrupted any steves there to be twisteds.

The Darklands

A rare biome which can be extremely tiny or massive in size. This is where the darkness, darkness beast and dark guards spawn naturally.

The Violet Forest

Home to the Violet steves, this biome is quite peaceful and it contains unquie Violet flora.
