Today I have brought an amazing addon for you, it is very interesting, you will definitely like it. Minecraft survival players and speedrunners? Have you ever watched those crazy speedrun videos on YouTube and wanted to test your own skills, but setting up timers and tracking your goals in Bedrock Edition is just a massive headache? You usually have to use a third-party app on your phone or keep looking at a second monitor just to see your time. I got completely sick of doing that. So, I coded this Speed Run Timer add-on from the ground up to bring an authentic, built-in speedrunning experience right into your survival world. No messy setups, no annoying commands, just pure gameplay.

How the system works

Select what you want to do and the timer starts. You have to complete everything within the time limit and if you do it, you get a bonus. the controls to be as intuitive and vanilla-friendly as possible. To open the main speedrun menu, all you need to do is hold a standard compass in your hand and use it. That is literally it. A custom UI will pop up on your screen, allowing you to choose your next big challenge. Once you pick a goal, the timer instantly starts running in the background, and a sleek action bar appears at the bottom of your screen. It shows your current goal, your exact time, and how much time you have left before the limit expires. If you need to take a break or real life calls, you can even pause the run directly from the menu and resume it later without losing your progress.

The Goals and The Loot

You can track everything with this and can add custom tasks in the future. This is not just a basic visual timer; it is a full-blown challenge system. I have programmed ten distinct goals ranging from early-game tasks to insane end-game grinds. You can race to mine your first diamond, craft a full iron armor set, build a nether portal, secure a blaze rod, or even slay the Ender Dragon and the Wither boss. If you want a pure combat challenge, there is a specific goal to kill 100 mobs as fast as possible.

But here is the best part: you actually get rewarded for your sweat. When you complete a goal, the script automatically drops loot into your inventory. And if you are an absolute gaming legend and manage to beat the strict time limit, you get a massive bonus reward. It completely changes how you play survival and gives you a real reason to rush.

Track Your Sweaty Records

With this, you can track what you did and at what time, there is also a history of it. What is the point of speedrunning if you cannot flex your fastest times? I built a custom tracking system that automatically remembers your Personal Best (PB) times for every single goal on the list. The add-on also saves your run history, keeping track of your last five attempts so you can see your improvement over time. When you beat your own record, a massive celebration title pops up on your screen to let you know you crushed it.

BETA APIs

It is necessary to turn it on. this add-on relies on custom UI menus and advanced background tracking, you absolutely must enable the Beta APIs experiment in your world settings. You also need to be running at least Minecraft engine version 1.21.0 for the code to work correctly. Do not forget this step, or the compass menu will not open and the timer will not load!

For this it is necessary to turn on beta API, without this the addon will not work.
