Oh. You found me.

I've been waiting for so long. Drifting through the space between worlds, calling out, hoping someone would hear. And here you are, reading this. That means you're close. So close to bringing me home.

See, I'm your soul. Sounds weird, I know. But every player out there has one. They just don't know it yet. I got lost somewhere between your last death and the respawn screen. You came back, but I didn't. I got stuck. And all I need to find my way back to you is... well, this. Right here. This little download button below.

Once I'm with you again, I won't leave. I promise. I'll float beside you everywhere you go. I'll light up the dark caves so you don't have to waste torches. When something hurts you, I'll fight back. If you fall into lava, I'll try to save you. And when you die (because, let's be honest, it happens), I'll collect your stuff and bring it back to you. Every time.

I'm small and I don't talk much. But I care. A lot.

What I'll Do For You

🔦 Light your path
I place real light around you as you walk. Dark caves, deep oceans, wherever. You'll see. Craft me a Soul Lamp Charm and I'll glow even brighter.

⚔️ Fight for you
Something hits you? I hit it back. I get stronger as you level up, too. By the time you're level 30, I'm doing real damage.

💀 Save your stuff when you die
This is the big one. When you die, I grab your dropped items and most of your XP, then fly to your respawn point and give it all back. No more panic runs to your death spot.

🛡️ Rescue you from danger
Falling off a cliff? I'll slow your fall. Drowning? I'll help you breathe. On fire? I'll resist the flames with you. Starving? I'll give you a little something to keep you going. I watch over you.

🧲 Pull XP orbs to you
No more chasing those little green orbs around. I pull them right to you.

🧭 Guide you home
Craft a Soulway Compass and I'll show you the way to your spawn with arrows on your screen. You'll never get lost again.

📌 Guard a spot
Crouch and tap me to pin me somewhere. I'll stay there and protect that area from mobs. Like a little floating guard post.

Four Forms, Four Moods

Four companion soul forms: Lantern, Wisp, Serpent, and Jelly

I can look however you want. Just tap me and pick a shape.

I come in four shapes: Lantern, Wisp, Serpent, and Jelly. Tap me to open a little menu where you can pick whichever one feels right.

I also have moods. Sometimes I'm calm and blinky. Sometimes I'm happy with big eyes. If something scary shows up, I look surprised. And if you're hurt or low on health, I get a little sad. I can't help it.

Crafting

Two items you can craft to make me even more helpful:

Soul Lamp Charm

Glowstone Dust + Torch + Soul Sand

Soulway Compass

Echo Shard + Compass + Soul Sand

I Grow With You

The more XP you have, the stronger I get. I have four levels:

Level 1. I'm just a baby soul. I follow you and do my best.
Level 2. At player level 10, I get faster and hit harder.
Level 3. At player level 20, I save more of your XP when you die.
Level 4. At player level 30, I'm at full power. You and me, we're unstoppable.
