With SoulEggs, now you can! This addon lets you capture any mob inside a magical egg store it, carry it, and release it anywhere you want!

We have completely overhauled the addon to make it SMP Safe Lag Free and Feature Rich! Here is what's new:

🔥 New Features

1 🔍 Mob Scanner (New Mechanic!)

How to use: Sneak + Interact with an Empty Egg Instead of capturing the egg now acts as a Scanner Displays the mob's Health Movement Speed and Attack Damage Useful for checking stats before deciding to capture!

2 🔒 Biometric Security System

How to use: Sneak + Use (Right Click/Long Press) with a Full Egg Locking: You can now LOCK your captured eggs Once locked only YOU can release the mob Prevents players from stealing your valuable pets from chests! Lore updates to show [Locked] by <PlayerName>

3 🛡️ Anti Theft Protection

Added a strict ownership check You cannot capture tamed animals owned by other players Makes the addon 100% safe for public SMP servers

4 🧹 Auto Cleanup Technology (Anti Lag)

The addon now automatically deletes the internal structure file from the disk after a mob is released Keeps your world file size small and prevents server bloat over time

🛠️ Quality of Life Improvements

🎯 Smart Raycast Release: Mobs now spawn exactly where you are looking (up to 6 blocks away) preventing them from suffocating in walls or spawning underground

📜 Dynamic Lore: Eggs now display detailed info:

HP: Current/Max Health Status: Shows if mob is Tamed or a Baby Inventory: Shows if a donkey/llama/chest boat is carrying items

🚫 Balance: Added Warden and Elder Guardian to the blocked mobs list by default

💰 Economy Support: Added a configuration to charge XP Levels for capturing mobs (Default: Free)

🐛 Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where mobs spawned 2 blocks blindly in front of the player Prevented capturing mobs that are already dead (0 HP) Replaced Unicode emojis with text tags (e g [Locked]) for better cross platform compatibility

⚙️ How It Works

This addon adds two new magical eggs:

🧿 Empty Egg

The Empty Egg is the key to capturing mobs.
Simply craft it using rare items, then interact with any entity animals, monsters, or villagers to absorb their soul inside the egg!

Once used, it disappears and is replaced by a Full Egg.

🔮 Full Egg

When you capture a mob, your Empty Egg transforms into a Full Egg.
Each Full Egg has its own dynamic properties meaning it saves the exact mob you caught!

Just interact with the ground or a block while holding it, and the mob will spawn back into the world.
Each Full Egg can only hold one mob at a time.

You can craft the Empty Egg using this balanced and logical recipe:

Craft it on a Crafting Table, and you’ll receive your SoulEggs: Empty Egg.

📖 Example Use

1. Hold your Empty Egg
2. Tap or right-click on a mob 🐷
3. Your egg becomes a Full Egg (Pig Egg)
4. Use the Full Egg again on the ground
5. The pig is back! 🪄

Repeat this to collect and move any mob in your world safe, simple, and fun.
